Rotator Rod Curved Shower Rod, Nickel Cap w/ Black Accent Ball

I love the concept of a rotating curved shower rod increasing/decreasing spaces when they aren't in use. Shipping was a breeze and the item was packed with all the necessary parts and pieces. If you are looking to mount onto tile, that is a separate mounting kit that you will need to purchase.Everything was great except the install instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. I ended up installing it basically twice since the instructions led me to install the rod in a way that it couldn't even support its own weight....once the curtain was added, it just hung down straight like a smiley face. Unfortunately... that did not make me smile and I had to uninstall it and look through the instructions. I basically followed the instructions again, but hung it "upside down" so that the bar locks into a horizontal position... I think it was meant to be installed that way to begin with, but the folded up piece of 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper did not have clear diagrams (IMO).After the install, the rod works great and I've gained a ton of space in the shower. I'm a big fan of not having to touch the shower curtain if at all possible.... so this helps with my shower curtain phobia. I haven't used the rod to hang dry wet things so that they drip into the tub, but I'm glad I have the option to.One tip: Maybe get a friend to help you install this since there were a couple of times where gravity won and I ended up having to piece everything together. There are some small plastic parts that will slip out of their holders if you are holding the connections at the right angle, so please be mindful of anything that is falling from the rod during installation.

We purchased this shower rod almost exactly a year ago when we moved into our apartment. Because the bathroom is small, we were careful only to implement solutions that would maximize the efficiency of the space. Most of the curved shower rods will nicely increase the space inside the shower, but comes at the expense of the space in your bathroom. We were so excited to find the answer to both problems! The Rotator Rod transitions smoothly and we have been very pleased with it. We are tall people and have never used the plastic tool meant for flipping the bar back and forth, but I imagine that it might be helpful for shorter people or children. Additionally, our experience with their customer service was fantastic. My wife had originally opted for the black accent balls because she thought the white would get scratched up and look bad after a while. However, as soon as I installed the shower rod, she said the black accent was an eyesore in our white bathroom. I contacted customer service and they sent me the white accent balls at no charge! My wife was pleased, and after a year, they still look new. If the accent balls came in the brushed nickel, that would have been ideal, but regardless, we highly recommend this product and company.

I've been using this rod for over 3 years. It's held up great. Looks like the day we purchased it. Installation is easy, though a little trickier than a standard bar. This is perfect for a smaller bathroom. I'm a larger guy and I don't like a clingy shower curtain. This allows me to have plenty of room in the bathroom, (more room) and then it folds out and gives more shower room. My wife actually prefers to shower with it in, I guess it keeps her warmer or something, maybe she likes the cling. But I like it out, it's easy to switch back and forth so in or out it's a matter of seconds. The plastic rod that does the flipping did break though. So I think it should be made of something stronger. Not a problem for me as i'm tall and just reach up and flip it. My wife is 5ft though and has trouble reaching it. Good thing she likes it flipped in.

The thing about small bathrooms is they are small. Duh, right?My boyfriend found this product in a SkyMall catalog a few years ago and has been looking for it (or something like it) ever since. Last week I finally found it on Amazon (silly me, I should have checked Amazon months ago) and immediately ordered it. Excited about enhancing the use of space in my small bathroom and surprising my boyfriend with a product he has been pining over for years, I impatiently awaited its arrival. Who knew I could be so excited about ordering a shower rod!But that excitement very quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered that my shower is in fact too small (by less than an inch) to fit this shower rod. I knew my shower was small... that's why I wanted this product, but there were no size warnings or advisories on the main product page to indicate that I should delay ordering to measure what I thought was a relatively standard shower. As a product that is marketed at people living with a small bathroom I think the concept is great, but the execution is terrible. We have not decided yet if we will keep it for potential future use or return it since it clearly is not made for its target environment.

I was skeptical of how this would work. Would it be a pain to put up? Would it hold up? Would it pivot smoothly? Well, it works GREAT! My shipment was missing some hardware, so I contacted their customer service. They were wonderful--and sent out the parts right away. Then the company president called me to see how it worked out! So now you all know--this is the best curved shower curtain rod ever. It went up easily; it has survived being yanked by my grown sons and assorted friends; and, best of all, it gives me space in my little bathroom when I need it, but elbow room in the shower when I need that! I am usually a real cynic, but this product has me sold on it.

Excellent customer service and genius product that has turned my absurdly tiny bathroom into a heavenly spa.
