It was a little bigger than I expected, this was a good thing. I have a dachshund and stays outside during the day in his house. This works well so far however, it does not get as warm as I thought it would get. So far so good though. We will have to see when it is around 30 to 40 in the am. I will still be installing a small heater for rainy cold days. Most likely will not be used at night as he stays inside. Will review again if that happens. I do however wish it came with a cover.

Our dog, a 55lb pitty mix loves this heating pad. The heat doesn't always distrubute evenly but then she adjusts her body to make up for it. The only limitation is I wish it had a shut off feature, so I could set it to shut off after a few hours, sometimes I am tempted to leave it on when we go to bed but I don't. Its a wonderful product and so far our dog hasn't attempted to chew it. Shes a chewer but no issues there.

I bought one of these for my 3 cats to share...not happening. So I bought 2 heating pads of a different brand to keep the cats from fighting, but I wasn't happy with the other product, so I came back and bought 2 more of these. Now ALL my cats are happily snoozing on warm beds. Exactly what I wanted. This is a wonderful product and I would recommend anyone with pets purchase this/these. You'll be GLAD you did!!

I put a light throw over the pad and turn it on for my dog. Living in Montana our nights are cold so she enjoys a nice warm bed! Highly recommend this product.

Good size, doesn't smell when turned on. Seems to be really warm even on low. Was too warm for our dog even with a towel on top of it

This heats up pretty warm, which is great for small dogs who tend to be cold. Not sure about dogs who are big. I wouldn't put it in a kennel without a space in there that let's your dogs or cats to be able to get away from the heat. My dogs live it! Going to order one for our outdoor cat who can access our unheated garage.

I liked that it was well sturdy and was a large pet bed.

This is good, is just small for a big dog.
