Installation was easy, after I finally found our filter “wrench” that our original filter installer had left behind. Water tastes fine and it seems that our water flow is smoother now than before. No smell, leakage (as long as you don’t forget to insure the gasket is in place!), or durability issues.

This is a better than the OEM's filter.
Bought this for an under-sink water filter. Original filters were replaced with another product and the $$$ went higher. These last a lot longer than the OEM's filter. Wasn't sure this would work, but size described, determined, a good fit.
