My son is 6 years old and wears 6T or S in kids and this life jacket was perfect for him! Very comfortable. Definitely supported him against the ocean waves & pool. Felt 100% safe. The straps were secured. Great value!

I live on a river with a guest house. I have numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their friends visit to have fun on the river. Wakeboards, kayaks, paddle boats, fishing boats, tubes. etc. I also have about 14 life jackets of all sizes, infant to XXL adult, and even dog life jackets. A life jacket is useless if it is not worn. This jacket seems to be the most popular and the kids now look for it when they come over. They like the fit and think it looks cool. Coast Guard approved. I'll order more. I worked for a large city PD underwater rescue and recovery unit, I have seen my share of tragedies. When the kids are on or in the water I am there at the shoreline or usually in a kayak with the kids between me and the shoreline.

This life jacket is great. Purchased foe my 6 year old. Rides up quite a bit, but still does what it's supposed to do. So we're happy with it.

My kids are about 54 and 60 pounds, so within the range and too big for the next size down. But they are very skinny. These worked well as far as keeping them afloat and heads out of the water. The kids were able to swim around in them in the ocean without worry of going under. I noticed that on the tightest cinch down, the jackets did move up closer to their chins than I believe it is designed for. The inside information states Chest Size: 25-29 inches (64-74 cm) if that is helpful. After the fact, I measured and my kids are 24 inch and 27 inch chests. Both had the jacket ride up. It dried nicely when hung outside for a while. One use so far, so no mildew or smell. Altogether happy with the purchase - hopefully my kids grow soon!
