Still relatively compact when closed. magnets are ok as far as strength. care must be taken not to move the playing board too quickly as the pieces tend to drift a little when moving too quickly! would buy again. excellent quality board (sturdy) and still easily transported despite the slightly larger size board. actually perfect for what I bought it for...as light and dark tokens for the Chill Roleplaying game (3rd edition) . the larger size makes it easy for the players to see at a glance how many light tokens are available for the players to useand also to feel scared at how many dark tokens the monsters have available to use against the player characters

Have always loved the game of Othello but this was a much better price. I also loved the compact size, magnetic pieces and great storage feature! Something to play to pass time during stay at home/quarantine time. Fun game that plays quickly.

Easy to store, organize, and play!

This is obviously a knock off of Othello but I just wanted a cheaper version. Seems a little cheaply made but will work well for just a game.

The magnetic aspect is great for one with cats, and they look like little oreos which, trust me, is uniquely appealing. The pieces come in little cases that are well-made and fit all perfect. It's cute, compact and handy, and super durable for the price.

Love this version of the game I grew up with, Othello. The magnetic version makes it a great travel game, great for stealth work games, and less messy for rage quitters.I bought this as a game that can be played at work without taking up much time at one sitting. It’s set up at my desk and anyone who wants to play can make the next move as they walk by. Then it’s my turn. We can play it without the other person being there. We just use a sticky note that says “your turn” and we face it towards the hall or my cubicle in order to know who’s turn it is.It’s adds a team building element to the daily grind. I work with an older crew, so when I tell them about rage quitting, they laugh (we’ve all been there or know someone who has). The magnetic board keeps things nice and neat when shuffling things are on my desk.It’s a good value for the money.

I was gifted a similar magnetic version of this game from my uncle when I was in primary school and we were visiting his family overseas. I remember learning to play it together with my brother and cousins. We would have epic games and play until the wee hours, with loser rotating off the board.The game takes minutes to learn, but there is a lot more strategy than on first appearance. It can look like you're dominating your opponent all the way up to the final few moves, then wham, they hit you with a controlled finish for the game.The board itself is great, the magnetic pieces stay in place, and easily pack away inside the folding board, allowing you to play pretty much anywhere.I highly recommend you buy this for the kids, it will get them off the computer and interacting directly with each other and you. My son picked it up quickly and now hates losing to me and is so happy when he outplays me, he is constantly asking me for a game.

ocupa poco espacio ya plegado, las fichas son imantadas y está bien la sensación de materiales la verdad, me ha gustado por completo, lo recomiendo
