TECHKEWL Phase Change Cooling Vest (1 vest)

UPDATE:It's June of 2019 and starting using my vest again, after 3 years of use it's still holding up (I didn't use my vest for most of 2018 though).Been using my vest for a couple of weeks so far. I'm sure glad I had bought this, it's been getting hot these summers days lately, and this cooling vest is good insurance, especially when working. I've been thinking about wearing this while bike riding, it may weigh me down a bit but whatever.It gets dirty, but I just (hand) wash it in a bucket and then hang it up to dry.The cooling packs are still useable and work just fine, throw 'em in the freezer once they melt.I'm working a new job as of late, and involves working in a warehouse; so lately I've been wearing my vest from 12:30ish pm to 3:30 because just this week it was reaching 95 and above, and not only that, it tends to get humid in that building. Around almost 2:30 the cooling packs are melting, turning to liquid, and by 3 o'clock the cooling packs are all nearly melted with small frozen chunks floating about the liquid.With ALL that said, I'm still satisfied with this product, it helps out on those hot days.PS.I forgot to mention, in beginning, that I originally ordered a M/L vest (back in 2015) but received a L/X-L, which wasn't a problem actually, because I think the L/X-L fits better so I can imaging that the M/L would of fit too small on me.As much as I liked the Techkewl vest bag, the darn thing got messed up from wear and tear (see picture). Despite that, it's still useableI ordered this because it seemed like a good idea. At my current job, it can get hot, so this can come in handy.Anyway, my place of work, is a warehouse and, dear lord, it can hot and stuffy around 2-4 o'clock. I work from 8:30am-4:30pm, most of the time I work around ovens, so it gets even hotter. So like the description says, it lasts about 2 hours. I'm fine with that.When I have to work around the ovens, I usually wear this and it keeps me cool and I like the sensation; I'll put it on around 9:30am and around that time it starts to get hot(by then it's about 95 degrees inside the warehouse).I get my lunch around 12 o'clock and the PCM packs are melted, but not all the way through. In the break room there's a average sized freezer, I put the packs in there to let them freeze solid before I use them again.I usually wait until my last break to put it back on. So, around 2:30pm I get my last break; but sometimes the PCM packs aren't all the way frozen(going to have to get a spare set of packs). I then wear the vest until 4:30 when I get off work, and depending on how hot it gets, the packs are usually melted by then because it can get about 105 degrees.Overall, great product, I'm impressed. Right on,Techkewl. I even use this outside of work too.P.S. I like the Techkewl gym bag that came with the vest and PCM packs

Excellent cooling vest. I have used these for years and this one is a replacement for one that a friend is using that is going through chemo. It helps her tremendously with hot flashes as she deals with breast cancer. I use this one for gardening, and summer hunting. The only down side is that it is pricey - but a trip to the ER is more expensive if I pass out from heat stress.

My daughter and son in law are mascots. They use this regularly and it keeps them cool. It’s adjustable, so it fits them both much better than their old vests They love this vest!

This vest is awesome. I am in attics and outside for home inspections. Definitely makes a difference. Stays cool for quite a while in the FL heat.

Good product, a little bulky under my 6 point harness. I suffer from extreme sensitivity to heat and this kept me on the track for 2 days in Birmingham,AL.
