Almost Perfect - Slight Flaw
Defense Striker is almost perfect in length, weight and diameter (Photo 1 and 2); however, it's only flaw is its grip or there lack of. Even an initial strike on an attacker would only cause minor injury as the striker would slip through your grasp. The finish is very smooth and non-abrasive causing any resistance against the point to slip through your hand even though there are finger grooves. And to make it worse, if you get the attacker's blood onto that hand holding the striker your second or third strike would be a waste of time. I know this as I have trained with knifes and pig's blood to simulate the real deal. Whether its a knife or striker, blood means loss of grip unless you can add an abrasive textures to the finger wells. After receiving my 3 packs of strikers, I used "Stop Skid Tape" from the local box store and wrapped it around the finger grooves/wells (Photos 3 and 4). Now when I train my wife and daughters on how to properly use these devices, I can rest assured they won't slip from their grasp. There is a down side to adding the grip tape. I carry my striker in my front pocket of my jeans. Striker in pocket, keys outside of pocket. My wife carries her in her purse with the keys on the outside. When you place the striker in, or take it out of your pocket or purse, the non-skid grip tape over time will wear away the pocket or purse heem, but I'll take that over not being prepared for an attack. When I'm walking outside the striker is in my hand, but when I go into work or a store, its in my pocket and can be pulled out in less then a second.Great piece of gear for self-defense. Just check your state to determine if it is legal to carry this item in public.

It's a great key chain.
These are great key chains. And that is how I carry them. If you carry them for self defense, then they can be considered a weapon. Well, I am not going to have to deal with stupid police over this being a weapon so I put a key on it. Now, should I use it for self defense, that is another matter, as long as the key remains on it. Stay smart and well protected. Never give the cops a reason to harass you over something as simple as self defense. You have a right to protect yourself.

Works as advertized
Some people are confused as to what this is, its a non lethal self defense tool to inflict pain through pressure points allowing you to get away from aggressive people. ITS NOT A KNIFE. A lot of ignorant people saying you cant stab someone with it, of course you cant!

Great tool self defense tool
Perfect to fit on your key ring! Kept one and gave one to my daughter. Grip is great for smaller hands and fits perfect for use for self defense no matter how you hold it. Recommend for self defense when out running, shopping alone, or just walking to your car after work.

Great condition
It looks great, and its easy to grab but i would wish for it to be a little more long. It comes in great condition and the end tip is not sharp but it sure does hurt if u press it to someone.

Awesome key chain. Haven’t had to use it but feel comfortabke
Got this item for myself and my teen as an added sense of comfort whether walking to my car, on campus, or out walking the dog. I also lose my keys in my bag a lot so figured this would help and it does haha. Saw them at a defense table at a trade show once and those prices were outrageous so this was an excellent price point and value. I have it clipped to my key ring so it is easily accessible to me at all times. It is hard, solid, and has a comfortable grip. I get asked about it anytime someone sees it on my key ring and people are astonished when they feel it. The only thing is the black one had a sharper point then the blue one in my 2 pack. They both would cause some damage if need but I preferred the sharper point on the black one.

These could save your life.
Solid and easy to grip... you could shatter your auto-glass and set yourself free if necessary. But also, with just a tiny bit of training and practice you would be easily able to defend yourself from attackers...the element of surprise is that you have one of these on your keychain... I bought two because I recently "thought" that I started having concern for my own safety at night, but in reality I realized that I was ACTUALLY taking my safety for granted which concerned me; that I didn't have my usual self-defense back-ups handy. There are some basic moves anyone can do, any age, any gender...just a few simple moves that if you practiced with one of these along with slight of hand/element of surprise you could buy yourself just enough time to run... Everyone needs one of these.

Lightweight and fits comfortably in your hand
Bought this after taking a self-defense class. Hopefully, I will never have the need to use it.
