The best skateboarding game there will ever be.. PERIOD!
I give this game 4 stars purely based on the fact that it is probably the best there will ever be skateboarding game out there. The game has possibly the best soundtrack i have ever heard in a game and the gameplay is utterly addictive! Unfortunately, it loses a star down to the fact that the item was damaged in transit and failed to arrived. Had a refund immediately so cant really complain.

A masterful port of what was widely agreed to be one of the best games ever released for the Playstation.
In its Playstation release, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is one of the only two sports games I ever found really engaging with the other being SSX. (Not surprising, considering that Tony Hawk 2 is widely agreed to be one of the best games ever released for the Playstation, period)The PC port is even better. Take everything that made the Playstation release good, then add network multiplayer, some extra hidden unlockables, the ability to render at higher resolutions, and a comfortable set of default keyboard bindings for people who don't have a PC gamepad handy. (Spacebar to jump, C/V/B for tricks)It's not ideal that the text-entry screens (naming your career, entering your initials for a high score) still use the console-style "arrow keys to move the cursor" approach, but it's no worse than other ports and you only really have to do that twice (one for career name, once for first high score) and then it'll remember. The fact that this (or other releases of the PC version) can be had so cheaply is just icing on the cake. Definitely worth buying!
