Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner Liter Duo (33.8 OZ EACH)

I have been using Aveda for a couple years now. I love the fragrance and the feel it give my hair.

I know it seems like it's spendy, but it will last for months - so it's really not. I love the smell and it is a great shampoo that really cleans, and the conditioner is not too heavy. I would definitely recommend.

My husband loves this shampoo and conditioner. The mint awakens his skin and he feels completely awakened!

These huge bottles of Aveda are the best bang for your buck...I've been buying smaller bottles from the salon and they are a quarter of the size for around the 20 dollar mark. These are great smelling, very minty (which is a favourite scent of mine) and actually tingle the scalp...It's a very fresh cleanse!

This is not a pure product. Neither the shampoo nor the conditioner have the same strength of smell as ones purchased from a salon, in fact the conditioner actually smells odd. The shampoo does not lather well at all. The conditioner is hard to rinse out; even when used sparingly and rinsed for a long time it leaves an odd residue that makes my hair feel sticky and stiff and not only is hard to get my fingers through it also feels crackly. On the rare occasions when I curl my hair with a curling iron, the heat brings out a most unpleasant smell in my hair. I have easy white girl hair. I have never had these problems with even a cheap shampoo. I have used this product with both city water and well water and ended up with the same results. Unfortunately it took me too long to register that it wasn't my imagination. I purchased these last December as a Christmas gift to myself so that there was something for me to open as this has become important to my sons (I'm single-mom of four boys, we homeschool, and I work some weekends) ... my gift to myself was a useful treat as it has been a few years since I could afford this product. But I didn't finish using my other shampoo and conditioner until sometime this spring while we were in the middle of moving. It wasn't until I recently complained to some friends that they reminded me that I could contact the seller or leave a review (duh, clearly I am beyond overworked). I tried contacting the seller first. Since that did not produce a replacement set, or much of an apology, or an offering to fix my concern, and since I just used the cheapest stuff ever in a fit of frustration with this "Aveda" product and discovered that my suspicions really are valid ... I've finally found a skinny minute to leave my thoughts here. There's no way the product I received is the real stuff. I've used the real stuff, but this isn't pure product. I still have over a half of a bottle of shampoo and slightly more conditioner. I try to use it sparingly, (I only wash my long-ish hair twice a week), in order to minimize the effects written about above. At this point throwing away what is left is the equivalent of my working a long shift for free. Had the sellers handled my communication differently then I'd have been inclined to continue to think this was just a bad batch. Unfortunately this was wasted precious money.

If you’re particular about the way your products smell, this is for you. Refreshing rosemary/earthy smell, not too much lather and rinses clean. Recommend.

Pricier shampoo and conditioner but you don’t have to use much even for long hair. Definitely value for money and product is truly worth it. Your hair show you! The scent and feeling on scalp and hair is amazing.

The top the shampoo bottle was loose and about 2" of the shampoo leak on the bottle and packaging. Not enough to go through the hassle of returning.
