Unreal
Unbelievably quick and responsive. The 90HZ display is the new standard and it's beautiful, at this price point you won't find a better phone, even at higher price points this is very competitive, if not better. The in display fingerprint scanner is mostly good, sometimes get the odd miss-read. Battery life is pretty decent and "Warp Charge 30T" is insanely quick, you can literally charge for 10-20 minutes before work and have enough to last you the whole day!The only slight weakness is the camera (apparently), I personally love all the rear cameras and the various modes although according to reviews there are slightly better sensors/software out there.Oxygen OS is fast and responsive, is essentially stock Android 10 with meaningful features added without any bloat which I love. OnePlus are also very quick with software updates, I've already had 4 which is more than I had during 2 years with my old Galaxy S9.Overall it's absolutely stunning to hold, screams through anything you throw at it (fastest CPU, screen etc.) and priced very reasonably. If you're thinking about it, JUST DO IT.

Still an excellent option in late 2020
I loved the OnePlus 3 back in the day, it was a super choice but (mainly on the big price increases OnePlus made) I moved across to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro afterwards, before now returning to OnePlus with the 7T (and a great Amazon Prime deal price). This is a great phone, its sleek, light and feels premium with its metal body. The three camera bump at the back is quite prominent - note that any good OnePlus 7T case compensates for this and makes for a smooth back (I use the excellent Spigen Ultra Hybrid case). The screen is whisper fast, clear and beautiful. I for one really like the teardrop notch - although you can make a straight line notch as well.OnePlus software remains fast, broadly bloat free and efficient, no complaints on this front (looking at you Huawei with your regular 'adverts' and suggestions)The camera is great, some people make entirely valid concerns. But I love the wide options, the zoom and the colour saturation. That said, I have yet to get a successful macro shot!Special shout out to the stereo speakers - I watch a lot of YouTube while at the kitchen sink doing washing up - so I wanted good speakers and the OnePlus 7T are loud, proud and mighty, excellent! That said, its not officially waterproof so I need to put it a little further from the washing up bowl!Warp charging is amazing, fully charged in 30mins or so - fab! I do miss the mighty batter on the Mate10 Pro, battery life is fine for a day, but its not an impressive feature - the warp charging helps balance this out mind you.So, happy purchase for me! Recommended to anyone happy to upgrade on a 'cheaper' option (I compared this on a prime deal against the OnePlus Nord or the Google Pixel 4A). If 5G is important to you, I would probably otherwise picked the Nord.

Great to this day!
By far and away the best phone I've ever owned. Its lived in a case since day one and it still has the screen protector it came with. I've dropped it more times than I can count, had it slide off into the sink more than once, dropped it in a dirty puddle more than once and took it in the shower whilst I was listening to music. Camera has always been soso but you can't have it all, battery life still good, charges quickly performs lightning fast for everything I want out of a phone.Tldr; I've not treated this thing well and it hasn't skipped a beat in the 4 years 2 months I've owned it. I don't give a monkeys about specs, if OP sold this now I'd buy another for the future.

Almost perfect, but far from picture perfect.
OnePlus are so close to perfect but EVERY time, the camera lets them down. So, to keep this short.•The screen gets super bright and very dim, it is a fantastic panel.•Battery life is very good and charging speed is amazing.•Software is simple but very easy to change up and makes this one of the only phones I won't put Nova Launcher on.•The design and build are sleek and pretty if ya don't mind the circular (rather sharp) camera bump. Just don't try to bend it.BUTThe camera is worse than the OP6, both front and back. How 48mp (even the mode itself) can be so blurry and soft I don't know (the cat photo) Selfies also have a soft overly contrasty look which is neither detailed or appealing. The only highlight to the camera is its macro mode, which does give good results to its credit (as shown). The Sony IMX586 seems to be an easy high number to advertise, but it simply isn't very good. I have tried Mi 9, Mi 9T Pro, Oppo Reno 10x and both OP7Pro and this 7T, and none of them produce the types of images that compete with Pixel 3a, Samsung S10, iPhone 11 or the Mi Mix 3.So if camera isn't super important, this is an easy recommendation. But with the lower costs of Pixel 3a or used/some new S10s, I would sway that way depending on the feature set you're after. Shame, this was 2019 phone of the year for a lot of tech reviewers, and I wish I could say the same, but I just can't.

Don't let the name put you off. These are very good phones.
Amazing phone. Been holding off buying a new phone untill my s8+ finally started giving in.Wanted a OnePlus for a long time so when the 7t cane out decided to bite. For the price, the phone is a beast. Would never go back to Samsung when I can get a flagship phone for under 600. (Compared to the 850 I spent when the s8+ came out) the phone hasn't lagged once yet and has been a dream with my mobile games, and the Xbox streaming app. Battery lasts me well over a day and a half of fairly heavy usage. When compared with my half day Samsung. And the fact it fully charged on under 35 mins is Great, tho I don't recommend leaving it plugged it over night. Missing wireless charging is my issue with it charging wise.Camera is very good too, haven't had any problems with the quality either. The only thing I am still adjusting too is no headphone jack

Minus the OS being a little difficult, a great device
The only issues I've had, coming from a pixel 3, has been the OS being a little stutter-y. Switching between apps, the camera quick access, and some apps freezing, are a little annoying from time to time. The second issue, which may be in the description and I missed it, is it came with a European charger, but also included was an adapter for n. American plugs. But the 2 pieces definitely are way too loose. They fall out with the slightest bit of jostling. Definitely ordering a new adapter soon.

Arrived on time, but SIM tray was wrong
The phone itself is excellent and I have no issues with it so far, except one.I ordered the dual SIM model of the phone. While the phone itself, both in hardware and software, is capable of using two SIM cards, for some reason the model that shipped to me had a SIM tray that was incorrect. The normal OnePlus 7T tray is double sided and has two slots for SIM cards. The one I received only had one slot. And to reiterate, the phone hardware facing the tray was capable of handling two SIM slots.I ordered a replacement tray from another seller because it was cheap and had free shipping. Seemed easier than returning the phone.Otherwise, I have no complaints.
