when researching the internet extensively for the best deal on aa lithium batteries, i found this to be the best deal out there. i purchased 24 aa energizer ultimate lithium batteries for a grandtotal price of $41.44 which included the shipping and handling which was a great deal and in some cases a way better deal than what other were charging in terms of cost per battery. now aboutthe product itself, while it's true that energizer aa alkalines are good batteries, energizer aa lithium batteries are way better. for example 15 year shelf life versus 7 year shelf life, greatertemperature tolerances, 35% lighter weight, less risk of battery corrosion or explosion which greatly reduces chances of damaging your product or injuring you and 8x longer life. so while theprice of the lithium version is considerably higher than the alkaline, the lithium's advantages over the alkaline outweights the price difference and is more economical over the long term thus isworth the higher cost since lithiums will save you money over the long term over alkalines and can operate in more extreme temperature conditions and finally is a safer battery as well.

Too soon to review its life expectancy… but work well.

We are huge fans of these Energizer Ultimate lithium AA cells, and can recommend them for nearly every application.On the advice of a friend, we first used them in my camera flashes: external Canon Speedlite 580EX II and Speedlite 600EX. Wow. Much faster recharge time, and lots more flashes before having to change cells.Over time, we've begun to use lithium cells in nearly all electronics, like clocks, laser pointers, even our Apple Bluetooth cordless keyboards.Two main exceptions: things that have high-draw motors (like portable electric shavers) and flashlights that use incandescent bulbs, like mini-Maglites. The lithium cells don't last significantly longer (or at all longer) in those applications.Interestingly, lithium cells do seem to last longer in flashlights that use LEDs!You notice right away that the AA lithium cells weigh a lot less than regular alkaline cells. That's because lithium is a very light element.

My wireless UHF microphone, belt packs, and portable transmitters use AA batteries. With an off-the-shelf average house brand, the handheld may get up to 6 - 7 hours of normal use. With the Pink Bunny or Copper Top, they achieve 12 -14 hours of normal use. With the Lithium Ion, I easily get 30 hours of normal use, making it a true business value choice.This vendor had the best price per battery when purchased in quantity, met all expected communications and delivery benchmarks and is always the go-to first stop when it's time to reorder.

I decided to get these Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries for my Canon PowerShot digital camera instead of the readily available Duracell Ultra Advanced AA batteries. I was tired of changing the batteries, even though the "battery" indicator showed that it still had power, but the "camera" indicator said otherwise. These 24 lithium batteries came as 6 four packs, but did not include the plastic cases as advertised. A quick phone call to the seller (MZ Photo) rectified this problem. I got three cases the next day. (Each case can only hold FOUR AA batteries, not EIGHT as stated on the website.) Hopefully with these new batteries, I won't need to change as much. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thanks, Amazon.com!6/21/10 - I just returned from two weeks in Greece and Italy and I took TONS of pictues, but I only needed to change my camera batteries 3X (6 batteries in all.) No more carrying bag full of AA batteries (ultra or not.) All I needed was Lithium batteries!

This is the third time I've purchased this particular bundle of 24 Energizer Ultimate Photo Lithium AA batteries. The price is very competitive, and the batteries are fresh and functional, if slow to arrive (it's taken two weeks from order to delivery).Rechargeable batteries can be nice, but they don't hold a charge for very long, especially in high-discharge devices such as camera-mounted strobe units. These lithium cells are far more practical for heavy usage.The only thing keeping me from giving this bundle a five-star review is that the item description shows that accessories are included with the batteries--the bundle used to include a pair of reusable battery cases, now it's a little keychain flashlight--but of the three orders I've placed for this particular item over the past six months, only one of them actually included the accessory items, and I'm unable to find the disclaimer to the contrary that was mentioned by an earlier reviewer.This listing simply needs to be corrected such that it provides an accurate description of what purchasers will, and will not, receive for their money.Candidly, I don't even want the flashlight that's pictured, I'm just endlessly annoyed by false advertising. I'd much prefer a reduction in shipping costs to a cheap promotional item.

I ordered these for a six-month bike/hike around Europe to power my camera, recorders and amateur radio set. These batteries last forever, compared to standard alkalines. I was especially pleased with their performance with my radio set. It uses six and I only used two sets for the entire trip. I would have easily used six sets with standard alkaline.Since we're backpackers, battery weight is extremely important, and not only do these units last far longer, they're extremely light and come highly recommended.
