Rishiri Kombu Hair Color Treatment (Dark brown, Light brown, Black) (Light brown)

This is one of the very popular hair-dye/hair-care products in Japan. There are multiple brands make similar hair coloring/gray coloring treatment, but this is the best in its performance and the result.It's a little tricky to use. If your gray is very noticeable, use this on dry hair before you shampoo. Make sure to apply some cream (hand cream is fine) on your face/neck near your hairline. Otherwise, it'll stain your skin. Wear ear caps if available. The bottle is not too well designed so I recommend using a hair dye cup and put out the amount yo'll use in the cup first. (Keep the bottle tightly closed and upside down for the next use.) Use plastic gloves and hair dye brush/comb to make the application easier. If the treatment drops on the counter or floor, wipe it clean immediately before it dries.The treatment won't damage your hair like other drugstore chemical hair dye, so feel free to leave it on as long as you want. If you leave it longer, the color stays better. I usually leave it on for 30~50 minutes. Cover your head with plastic wrap or disposable shower cap for better result.Rinse WELL. Really really well. Then, shampoo and condition as usual. When your hair is still wet, the color may transfer to towel, pillowcase, or to your clothes for a couple of days. If you do exercise the same day or next day, you may see gray sweat. So don't do Hot Yoga the next day. After 2~3 days, usually the color transfer will stop.You may see some gray strands not 100% dyed but in my opinion, that looks more natural and not screaming out loud like "I've dyed my gray today!" If you want darker result, repeat the whole process several times. I usually use this every 3~4 weeks, and sometimes just do spot treatment where the grays are more prominent.

Since I'm allergic to most hair dye products, this is the only one I can use. Since it's not really hair dye the color doesn't last long. I usually need to repeat every 2 weeks or so. The instruction is hard to read and is not helpful. I did some research on internet and found the best way to use this product. Apply it for clean and dry hair, put on a shower cap, put hot towel over the shower cap and wait for an hour. It works great for me. Since it doesn't penetrate (just coat ) your hair it looks more natural than other using other hair dye products. I'm quite satisfied with this one.

This is my go-to hair dye. All natural, no smell. Have to learn how to use it to make it work:1. wash hair with shampoo the day before, let dry2. dye with warm wrap for 1 hours, then rinse only3. use for 2-3 times to see effectiveness4. maintain by dying 1-2 times a week

This color treatment is totally different from other hair color.More amount is needed to cover my long hair compared with other ordinary conditioner.It is quite messy to use in the shower and waiting for 5 min.there is hard too.To get the result c-l-o-s-e to other hair color's, you have to use it probably 10 times ( or more)But because you can use it everyday, you never have white root.I like using this color treatment because it does not damage my hair and body and I still can get considerable white coverage.

The best product, no smell, work perfect for my hair. I used to use cheap in store hair dye product that destroyed my hair and caused serious hair loss, that's why I started to look for real organic hair dye product, this is the one !! Need to use it at least once a week for a month to get color stay strong, but super easy work, and really love this safe product that doesn't damage my hair at all.

I use this light brown hair to mix it with the dark brown, because the dark brown alone comes out too purple for me. Light brown alone is a little green. Mixing the two comes out about right. I have to use this product because I'm allergic to all other products I've tried.

Seems 1 bottle is not enough to have color on your hair and 1 bottle is for about 2 weeks.My hair doesn't have color by 1 bottle even I used everyday.I don't think it worth to pay, pretty expensive for daily use.

works slowly ,need do 2 or 3 times to completely dye your hair, but your hair will looked very nature and shine. smell good also . no itching anymore.

ある日、父の髪を染めたら、、緑色になりました。困り果て、会社に電話すると、せっけんなどで洗ってくれ と。それ以外の対応は何もありませんでした。開封してから一定の期間が過ぎると染め剤が酸化して、髪が緑色になるそう。空けたらすぐ使い切る。絶対に守って使ってください。髪が緑色になります（笑）

白髪全然染まらない。思った通りだ。手めっちゃ汚れる。ちょっとやそっとじゃ落ちない。顔にも垂れてくる。それだけのリスクを負って、尚、白髪が染まらない。まじで怒りしかない。素直にビゲン買って使った方が賢明だ。

本品を気に入っており、継続使用しているのですが、いつもは青みがかった黒色ペーストなのに、1度だけ緑色がかった黒色ペーストの商品が送られてきました。いかにも昆布色って感じでした。ボトルは一見ほぼ同じですが、よく見比べると、緑ペーストの方は、全体的に本当にわずかに明るめかなと思われるくらいの緑ボトルで、裏面の記載は少し変わっているだけで、ほとんど同じ内容でした。売れ残りで古くて商品劣化が起こっていたのか、発売元が色味を変更したのか、模倣品が出回っているのか。。。？？？いずれにしても、緑がかった色味のペーストの商品の方は、どんなに頑張ってもほとんど染まらず、気持ち、ちょっぴり端っこの方が黒く見えたくらいで、洗髪でほとんど洗い流されてしまいました。青は当たりで、緑ははずれです。なんか、損した気分になりました。。。

40代 男性 短髪購入して無くなるまで１週間毎日乾いた髪に付けて１～３時間放置しましたがシャンプー(一応ノンシリコン)するとほとんど落ちてしまいました。髪へのダメージは少ないかもですが毎日毎日続けることを考えると・・・他を探します。

いつも市販の安いものを使っていたが、ワックスを付けているので、一度ワックスを洗い落としてから付けて、今度は白髪染めを洗い落とす、という二度手間だったので、リンスタイプのこの商品を買ってみた。もみ上げのところは、染まりにくいと感じた。ただ、頭頂部から後ろにかけてはよく染まっており、２，３日かけて一度染まって２，３日すると徐々に色が落ちていく感じ。なので、市販のすぐ染まる安いやつでもみ上げを染めて、全体的には利尻を使っている。手袋なしに付けているので、手のひらが真っ黒になるが、これは石鹸ですぐ落ちる。昆布というだけあって、洗い落とす際、濃い青緑色であることが分かる。今は、3日に1回使うペース。リンスの効果もあるので、洗った後の拭き心地はよい。
