Excellent Water Shoes
I bought a pair of these size 9 purple water shoes in 2016 for $10.99. They lasted for six years of wearing at beach, pool, or as slip-on sneakers. I just this week purchased another pair as they finally fell apart, and in 6 years the price went up less than $1.00! Hard to ask more from an inexpensive pair of shoes than that! Now, if you’re going hiking in rocky terrain, or whitewater rafting, you may need an all-leather shoe for better foot protection. If you’re just hanging out at a sandy beach, lake or pool, or just going for a walk, these shoes will work just fine. Other water socks may be of thinner material and dry quicker, so might be a better choice for the backyard pool.Again, how long these last for you will depend on your specific needs, and how well you generally take care for your footwear. You should note that nobody paid me for my review. I’m just a stay-at-home mom with a limited budget, and an appreciation for quality online shopping.

Not as sturdy as other brands
These were okay but not great. They are more flimsy than other brands I have tried. The material is not very thick and I would hesitate using these at the beach in the water. If you step on something hard, you will definitely feel it through the shoes. I used them for a river trip and they were just okay. I am going to buy a sturdier pair for the beach vacation.

Decent for the price
They are a bit wide but I have a narrower foot. They will work for the beach. Weird part is I ordered the pink and white but I got a solid black with a purple circle on top. It’s not even a choice, it’s fine though it’s just a beach shoe.

Price is fine for low use
Listen, for ten bucks and to wear for a trip up north, these did the trick.I read a lot of reviews that had me confused about what to buy. I think people are buying ten dollarish shoes and expecting them to last like thirty or forty dollar shoes. It's not going to happen. So this review is for the average person wearing them for a trip, maybe to do a little weekend water fun. They were really comfortable, wide enough but not too wide as to feel like they would slip off. The bottom is a very flexible black rubber that definitely won't last lots of trekking around but isn't bad for some time to time wading or playing in the water with an inner tube. The shoes are easy to slip your foot into, just a soft fabric covered elastic band around the ankle. There was plenty of room in the toe area to wiggle your toes. When wet, they did get a little bit heavy, but not too bad. They were a bit harder to remove when wet, which is probably what you want when you're inner tubing or wading in the water. All in all, for the price of around ten bucks, not bad. If you want something to last a while or to actually walk around in, this isn't it. This isn't an around town shoe, this is a directly for what it's used for, pool, lake, river.

They don't come in half sizes and it's recommended to order the next size up so I have ...
These fit as expected...which means they are actually a bit too large. They don't come in half sizes and it's recommended to order the next size up so I have size 8 water shoes on my size 7 1/2 feet. I like the fact that these are lightweight and dry relatively quickly after being in the pool. I don't like that the insoles slip back toward my heels (I'm water walking, not swimming, not swimming in these so there is a lot of friction against the floor of the pool). It's not painful or anything. I don't even feel it at my heels but, as it slips back, I can feel the front edge of the insole under my toes. The insoles were attached when they arrived...but whatever glue held them to the base of the show pretty much disappeared after the second wearing. The same thing happened to the Men's water shoes from this company that I had bought for my husband. For the price, I'm not going to complain but now that I know I really enjoy water walking, when these wear out I will probably look for a better made water shoe. Oh...one more thing. There is a strange, almost "paper like" woven covering on the bottom of the shoe that is wearing off and can actually be PEELED off when loosened. It doesn't seem to affect the traction of the shoe (whether on or off). I was wondering if it might be part of the manufacturing process as it looks like something that might be used to make sure the sole releases from the mold the rubber is poured into. Odd stuff.
