Very limited form of electrical lead to the point of impractical ......no official markings to validate if they are suitable for UK voltage......no IP rating stamp to indicate their worthiness outdoors......similar in appearance to those sets consumer bodies warn of.Very disappointed and urge Amazon not be offering these lights for retail in view of recent media coverage regarding Christmas light sets.To reiterate Electrical safety marks not evident......apart from a very lightly stamped CE mark on base of 13amp plug (non fused)supplied is one I am sure will not conform to UK standards.In conclusion for those who have purchased this set enjoy .....but should be alert and cautious especially outdoors when they are in operationand in the confidence of their suitability view of No voltage indication or IP rating (water ingress proof).Oh yes! one final comment to mention the set purchased from Amazon have failed.

I can’t rate this apart from it would have been nice that when I ordered them I should have been told to order extension wire to use them they are now stuck in the box as I am not buying extra wire just to use them if you order these remember to order extra wire otherwise you can’t put them anywhere as the wire is not long enough hence you need to buy if I would have known I wouldn’t have ordered them

I used the lights in a large tree in my garden - there were lots of comments of how effective they were during the festive season. I intend to get further lights because you can attach them together with the joiner. My only comment would be that it would be great if they had a longer lead wire because the lights start too close to the plug and we had to mess about with extension leads to give it more length up the tree to get to the branches. Otherwise absolutely money well spent.

The media could not be loaded.  I thought these would be great but one set on the right of the video ,2 of the tubes are not lighting up very dissapointed

These are a great addition to our christmas lights, the only bad part being the length of lead from plug to first light, which really limits where you can hang them.

I purchased these to replace a set from Argos. The quality is dreadful, they look really cheap and the lead from plug to first light is so short ( 2ft) that it’s impossible to plug in to a standard plug socket and use anywhere.Do NOT buy this product, same old thing you pay for what you get.

Bit disappointed to be honest. The length of cable from plug to first light is very short. So all the pictures of the lights hanging in the trees can only possible if you have a plug in your tree! Our set didn’t even reach the tree let along hang in it. All our other lights have a good 3-5m of cable between the plug and the first light.
