Beduan Stainless Steel 1/4" Hose Barb 3 Way Y Shaped Union Home Brew Fitting

Used for E85 fuel lines on a my subaru. dont use brass fittings. use this stainless steel. brass corodes with e85.

The media could not be loaded.  Product not as shown in pictures. It's 3 welded/ brazed tubes not one cast and drilled piece. Biggest problem for me is the barbs don't extend past normal the diameter of the hose, this means they do nothing to help hold the hose onto the end. Video tried to show how little effort it takes to remove from hose. Using a clamp won't stop the hose from coming off the end or leaking under 20+ psi because there's nothing for it to push against. The y barbs measure .3125" or 5/16 in. (as shown) vs the barb/nipple on the vehicle measures .364" to give the hose something to push on when pressurized. It might work in low pressure application with a clamp and does seem to actually be stainless (not magnetic).

The insides are filled with machining flake and debris. This would’ve gotten into my injectors had I not looked first.

This is a nice quality part. Barb's and the center section are clean pieces with no burrs or flaws. The "Y" shape was what I was seeking versus a "T" shape for my application. I would buy it again.

Item looks great and it should work for combining two tree taps into one

I assumed it would be machined out of one piece of metal. No, it's 3 barbs mitred and welded together. Welded very poorly too, they did not backpurge the welds so the inside of the fitting is full of sugaring. This fitting is not worth $5 in my opinion.
