Gave these to older friend w hardening of the arteries and other. Said has had fabulous results. Treadmill time increased significantly and am now able to take dog for walks. This was a MD...skeptical at first...but pleasantly surprised.

I give this supplement 4 stars because it indeed works as advertised for lowering blood pressure and possibly controlling insulin response/sensitivity. However, it's effects are quite strong - stronger than what is casually discussed in any resource I could find describing it's effects on both insulin and blood pressure. Taking just one capsule with a meal sent me into a hypoglycemic tumble along with reduced heart rate to the point that I almost went to the ER. My blood pressure is usually in the low-normal range and I am hypoglycemic, but I did not realize that this particular herb would have such a pronounced double whammy effect on me. So, minus one star for the lack of warning not just on the bottle (though it does have a very vague "caution" if you have pre-existing blood pressure issues or currently take Rx meds for it) but for the lack of warning regarding potentially serious contraindications for hypoglycemia as well.

I got this for the purpose of protection against psychic attacks and witches. That is what the herbal books say that this herb can do. I did notice it working. I just cannot keep up with the amount I needed to keep the attacks away. I need to find another solution. But it does work for temporary break from the attack. It's just a big pill to have to take all the time for the ongoing which attack activity to stop.

I bought these as a more natural approach to help my high blood pressure because I can't deal with the side effects of prescription medication. They haven't helped as much as I hoped, I still maintain hypertension around 160/105-140/95-100. I take one in the morning and one before bedtime. I don't have any side effects but they haven't worked as well as I have hoped. It may work better for someone who goes the whole 9 yards and don't smoke, exercise, and maintain a healthy diet. I've done 2 of the three other than quitting smoking, but I also have taken a prescribed BP med while doing nothing of the three mentioned and it did drop my BP to 125/85, but again the tiredness and nausea feeling I got I really wanted to try a more natural approach.
