LED Illuminated Combination Bike Lock - Best Bike Lock for Night Riders (TM) IBL-12

My wife, child, and I are casual riders but wanted a lock we could easily take with us when we need to lock up the bike and don't want to carry a bag to put the lock in. We found these on Amazon and ordered one to try out. The lock is super easy to program, it feels very sturdy, and the combination turns very smoothly. When it came time to put it on the bikes, I at first thought it wouldn't work with my bike because I have an under the seat "bike tool bag" that I thought was in the way. However, my genius wife, showed how I could place it lower than the bag, so it sticks out barely to the side of the wheel. It does not interfere at all with my riding and does not touch the seat at all. It is hardly noticeable and works perfectly. Without a tool bag below the seat on my wife's bike, the lock fit fine, as shown in pictures, with no adjustment needed. However, on my son's 22 inch frame bike, his seat is lowered all the way down, so there is no place to put this lock on his bike. Once he gets taller and we can raise his seat, it should not be a problem. Anyway, we like the functionality of this lock so well, we ended up purchasing two more.

I live on an a tourist island where automobiles are banned, we only have horses or bikes. I depend on this lock at night. It worked great for a month and now the light decides to do whatever it wants - sometimes off, dim, or on. Also, the clear number dials actually make reading the numbers at night harder. It takes the perfect angle to see it. Un/Locking is smooth and easy though, but I could have bought a $10 lock if that's all I wanted.

I love this bike lock, it's easy to use and install. I really like that it lights up so you can see your lock code at night. Also love that it stays coiled up out of the way on my bike. Lightweight but durable. Can set your code yourself. Item arrived on time and as described.

Exactly as described. No problems yet and I use it every day. If someone was serious about stealing my bike, this lock would only be enough to deter them or make them choose an easier target. I imagine with the right skills and tools defeating this lock would be easy. I live in a small town with a low crime rate. This is enough to keep honest people honest.

The product is light, connects easily to seat, coils nicely, seems durable, and it is extremely easy to create a new password. Overall, seems like a good product.

The chain was long enough to lock several bikes together. The light doesn’t work very effectively. You still can’t really see the numbers at night.
