Hey, bugs. I'm comin' for ya.
When you need a fly swatter, nothing else will do. We have dogs, so the back door opens a lot, letting in those pesky flies. I really took for granted growing up with a fly swatter. I think they got used on me and my sisters more than the flies. This summer I realized I didn't have a fly swatter anymore. Those bugs were just buzzing around all smug, with their little bug mouths smirking at me.Well, now I have TWO fly swatters! And they seem like pretty nice ones. The handles are flexible yet sturdy. The striking surface has a nice, large solid area to smash bugs. All in all, these are quality swatters. I recommend them to anyone who has creepy insects, smirking or not.

Disappointed but I am giving them to my son who ...
I gave these fly swatters 3 starts because they are study and fairly well made. Problem with them is that the handles are about 2-3 inches shorter than similar fly swatters I have used in the past. You can't really develop the velocity you need to hit the fly before it takes off. Disappointed but I am giving them to my son who has quicker reflexes, maybe they will work for him. I could not recommend the product and will look for a swatter with the longer handles like they used to make them.

Needs to be 6 Inches Longer
Flyes are tricky little buggers and are often hard to get, especially when they first get int the house and are hyper. This swatter so far has failed me because it's too short. Here's the good news: What I like about this swatter is that the head and handle are one piece. My last swatter broke when the head ripped apart from the handle during a rather violent fly slap.As I mentioned earlier, the problem with this swatter is that it is 15 inches. In the fight against speedy flyes, I need 21 inches. In fact, so far I have yet to kill a fly with this. I'm zero for three.

Over-promised
These cost more than regular fly swatters but seemed to break just as fast as the old kind. I purchased these because of the positive reviews but now find them suspect. When I received the order there was an offer to the effect of, "win a $50 gift card if you leave a positive review." I rarely leave negative reviews but this product over-promised.

Sturdy swatters but eventually broke after extended use
After a sudden invasion of fruit flies due to sudden, extended family trip immediately after a grocery store visit, I was looking for a quality set of swatters to tame the hoard. Due to the high number of great reviews, I selected this set.The swatters are thick and sturdy. But, as I found, probably too much so.Each swatter broke within 10 minutes of usage, unfortunately. When swatting on a flat surface they worked great and I downed many flies. However, flies like to sit on crown moldings, ceilings, and counter edges. The swatters just couldn't hold up after a number of swipes against irregular surfaces and each snapped at the same location.However, the measurement of time may be wrong. Each swatter did dispatch at least 40 flies, so there were likely 75 swipes on each. If you have a small number of flies throughout the year, this set may last a long time. If you have over a hundred, as I did, they will wear out extremely fast.I was able to return the swatters the same day to Amazon and instead purchased a set of dollar-store style that finished off the remaining flies with no issues.

Home staple
This was a solid fly swatter. They're made of quality plastic and aren't flimsy. There's not too much to say about fly swatters. This one is good at killing flies and other bugs you would find in your house. I killed a gecko with it last week. I imagine they will last me a long time.

I very rarely write reviews, but I have to with this product. These fly swatters are complete garbage. The plastic is not flexible and the first time I used them, it snapped. They BOTH broke almost immediately. It is only because I have been to lazy to buy any other fly swatters and have just dealt with the poor quality of these, that I am writing this now. Please do yourself a favour and don't buy them.
