Arctic Fox Vegan and Cruelty-Free Semi-Permanent Hair Color Dye (4oz, Blue Jean)

I use this over my natural hair (light brown with lots of grey) with brilliant results! I shampoo and dry my hair before applying it with a brush. I leave it on for as long as possible (hours usually because I lose track of time) then rinse and condition well because the product has lots of protein in and can be quite drying. The 4oz bottle is more than enough for shoulder length hair and I can get almost 3 applications out of the 8oz bottle (which is a lot better value) Colour fades at the roots quite quickly for me and for my friends who use it, but stays in the lengths for AGES. I last used this almost three months ago and my hair still has a purple tinge to it. Sticks well and looks really vibrant on my greys (like glittery highlights). I love how rich the colour is when it's freshly done. Washes easily off your bathroom, and is easy to get off your skin too. Will cause purple rivulets down your face and body in the shower durung first few washes, but that scrubs off. While its fresh, the colour does transfer to clothes/fabrics (like pillowcases) and to skin easily (hello purple neck and shoulders!) but again, it washes out easily and doesn't make permanent stains. Much better product than Manic Panic or XL Live colours...very VERY worth the price tag

I've been wanting to try this brand for a long time however the shipping costs to the Uk etc was just too much. When I saw this for £16 last month I snapped up this along with the blue. I was quite surprised by the smell it's very grapey and pigment and consistency looked promising. I tend to dye purple over my blue hair however have to go over my bleached roots a few times as it doesn't stick this gave a gorgeous colour and stuck a lot better. Really impressed will only say not sure about the black bottle its hard to tell how much is left!

Pros - the colour is amazing & lasts longer than the permanent colours I've been using. Cons - it stains everything & the colour comes out for weeks! It doesn't cover greys. Despite the cons, I'm so happy with the colour that this is my go to hair dye.

Best purple dye I have ever used!! The colour is so vibrant. I usually leave in overnight and add a healthy dose to my conditioner to keep it vibrant for longer. It had barely faded by the time i needed to do my roots. I found 1 bottle will cover shoulder length hair. It does stain everything easily but I found soaking in bleach will help remove any bath stains etc.

The dye worked well and doesn't seem to be washing out too quickly. It definitely doesn't look orange over my medium brown hair, it's red but still nice. I chose this because I have a PPD sensitivity, it did irritate my scalp a bit but I slept with the dye in so didn't do myself any favours!

Love the dye, been using it for years but the price has gotten insane.

This product is great, the smell, the conditioning and the colour. This Periwinkle is my favourite, its beautiful. I have mixed some bright pink with a pale blue and it achieved a great lavender! I really do love to play with these colours as they leave my hair glossy and smelling great! Some hair colours smell unpleasant but not this one! I leave it on for around an hour and a half as it cant damage the hair, this makes the colour vibrant and lasts for around a month depending on how much you wash it.

Worth the extra money for such a great result. My 8.y.o daughter was thrilled and it left her hair beautifully soft and smelt lovely. Really vibrant colour which lasted through swimming lessons and hair washes for a couple of weeks. Lots left for future uses too. Really pleased!

Je suis ravie de cette coloration semi permanente ou semi temporaire... Très facile d'utilisation. Évidemment, elle marque mieux sur des cheveux clairs mais elle laisse des reflets vraiment visibles sur les cheveux châtains. Super effet si on l'applique après avoir décoloré des mèches ou la longueur (ou la totalité pour les plus téméraires). Elle est vegan, sans ammoniaque ou produit agressif, c'est plutôt comme un masque coloré. Personnellement, je laisse poser plusieurs heures avec une charlotte. La couleur est magnifique et tient facilement plusieurs semaines, au moins 5/6 lavages. Le côté soin est peut être moins satisfaisant que d'autres colorations de ce type d'autres marques, mais c'est celle qui tient le mieux à mon avis. Celui là est franchement rose. Je le mélange avec une autre teinte violet foncé pour obtenir la couleur souhaitée. Je suis super satisfaite !!!

Use this pretty much monthly or every few months, depending on if I care. Lol. I mix it with purple AF but I like the pinkish undertones of this one to lighten it up a little. My hair is basically Lt brown, some grey, it works well to leave on for an hour or two. The less you can wash it the better, and cold water helps, but to be honest I am usually not very gentle to it and it still stays fairly vivid for a a good few weeks. It's way cheaper than going to the salon, way faster, even if it needs a refresh after a month or two, so did the salon jobs. WEAR GLOVES. There will be some wash out and be careful of staining, but hey that's the price of purple beauty. If you want Bright super vivid purple you really need to have very light hair, or bleach it, but I've been very happy with the coverage on my hair without doing this.
