The Holford Low-GL Diet
Excellent book that explains in layman's language why most diets are born to fail. It should be renamed "The Healthy Eating Plan". Problem is it is out of print and you need to buy three of Patrick's new style books to get the same information. It has helped me go from 105 kilos to 81 kilos and stay there, while enjoying a massively wide range of food. It explains vitamins & minerals and a host of other subjects. If you are truly serious about your health buy the book. If you are looking for the next :FAD" wait 5 minutes it will be here shortly.

Easy diet to follow
I found this book very helpful and easy to use. It explains how our bodies react to sugars and what foods to avoid. The diet was fairly easy to stay on, with a few modifications. The first 45 days on the diet I lost 8 lbs and a total of 5 inches. Giving up the chocolate has not been easy and I look forward to my once or twice a week treat. I found my craving for chocolate never went away, like the book said.

Very helpful book!
This is excellent information! Not just for fat burning, but for health! If you suffer from hunger pangs or low blood sugar, then this is a good book for you. The only thing I do not like is some of the suppliments mentioned are not available in the USA.

okay book
Interesting book but the diet is too complicated. Unless you are into tracking and counting things I would not recommend this book. If you are interested in info, then this is a good read.

Thorough in every way
The book has covered well the whole concept of why the low-glycemic load diet is a good choice & why the Adkins isn't, includes some interesting recipes, helpful suggestions for menus and a fairly comprehensive list of foods and their glycemic load. Includes studies showing how to get the most out of the regimen and recommends supplements that enhance its effectiveness as well. Altogether a very satisfactory book.

VERY GOOD INFORMATION ABOUT HEALTH AND DIET. SOME OF THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN US. EASY READING. I HAVE ALREADY TRIED SOME OF THE RECIPES, AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS. I ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK TO SOME OF MY FRIENDS.

Diet plan made simple
If you are looking to control your insulin (and/or carbs) this is a helpful book. Easy to understand and has some unique information in it. Somewhat hard to find, as the author is British.

Weight loss wonders
A very interesting diet. I would of liked to of seen a bit more of the types of food you would be eating before buying the book. Not my kind of diet.but worth a read

Dieting again!
Easy reading ,good narrative ,good explanations and of course a recipe book too. This was a replacement for the one I lost. Very cheap and still in good condition
