I think it's defective
I'm pretty sure mine is defective the LED strips flash and the fan sputters when the Wii is in standby mode and I'm afraid of it shorting outUpdate. One of the battery packs is defective and will not hold a charge. Not happy with that as I bought it for the sole purpose of recharging the controllersSecond update I checked the batteries that were not working and they had exploded.

What a Freaking Hunk of Junk...
So, I thought, "Hey, look! Rechargeable batteries AND a cooling fan! Sweet!" No, past me, NOT SWEET. I've had this product for almost three weeks, and within just a few days, I was having problems. The first: AAA Batteries. Whenever you put AAAs into a Wiimote, it always thinks that the batteries are running low. So, the usually helpful courtesy reminder about low batteries becomes infinitely more irritating.Secondly: The fan. Every once in awhile, the fan began to make this god-awful noise. I was seriously convinced that it was about to burst into flames! Have you ever tried to physically stop a motor? Because that's what this thing sounded like. But these are petty problems that I could have dealt with. HOWEVER, this last one's inexcusable.THE BATTERIES REFUSE TO CHARGE AFTER ABOUT A WEEK!!!This seems to be a problem with the base, because sometimes when I set the remote on the charging base, it works... for all of 5 minutes. Then the device seems to magically forget where it is, and stop charging. The connectors are faulty on one or both parts of the unit. The thing became more finicky than my old NES, and this doesn't have the excuse of being about 25 years old!I was so disgusted with this that I sent it back. Hey, maybe I'll buy some Pokemon cards with my refunded money. At least I know those will work!

One of the remotes is usually good for turning on the wii
This product did not work for me. From the moment we plugged it in and began using the batteries, it would not hold a charge. At first the remote would last about one hour using it to select movies on Netflix (my kids don't really play games on the wii anymore). One of the remotes is usually good for turning on the wii, selecting Netflix on the main menu and selecting a movie. After this, it needs to go on the charger because it may not have enough power for use when the movie ends. Also, the fan is loud and it bugged all family members. The bottom line is we must have received a defective unit since there are some owners of this product who rated this item 5 stars. We are pleased with the vendor. We were credited without a hassle.

Great Idea
This thing is pretty cool for a wii charging station. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 rating is the fan is pretty loud and it is constantly cycling on and off. But I love that this is built to use standard AAA batteries. Cause I can replace them with the Energizer one's once these go bad. The remotes seat nicely in the dock and LEDS are pretty nice touch. The fan is great idea since are WII is on all the time. I just hate that the fan is so loud which probably wouldn't bother me if it cycled on/off less, but the cycling makes the fan noise very noticeable.

Not so Rechargeable batteries
I was looking into a Wii rechargeable station for my Wii remotes, this one was pretty cheap and had good reviews, about 2 months in,the rechargeable batteries stopped working. The green light would indicate that the remotes were charged and when I tried to use them they were completely dead, so I put regular batteries and they worked. This was the only reason why I bought this and now it's just junk sitting there. I am so disappointed in this product.

This was ok..... The batteries ...
This was ok..... The batteries and everything hold up fair enough but the charging dock is really loud 100% of the time. The fan never stops running. It serves its purpose we just decided to go stop using it. You really get what you pay for so if your looking for something inexpensive then this is it.

Very convienient
Came very quick. Packaging of the product was hard to get into and the plastic had turned yellow as if it had sat in the sun or outside in a box for a long time. Product works great though. Love that it can charge both remotes and cools the system

I bought this about 6-7 months ago. Worked well ...
I bought this about 6-7 months ago. Worked well as far as the fan, which was the original reason I bought the unit. The batteries, never worked from the start. I never called the company about it, because I needed the cooling fan. Well, fast forward to now. Fan makes a noise loud enough to hear clear across the house! Its definatly not quiet by any means!
