The Divine Forces of the Lunar Naksatras: as Originally Portrayed in the Vedas

Great research and citations of original texts. This is one of the best books on the subject. It’s not a traditional sequential review of nakshatras but goes many layers deeper discussing the mythology behind all of these. Wonderful research.This book is not meant for those who just want bullet points or summary on nakshatras, but is meant for those who want to have a deep understanding on the meaning of each. I have gone through this book cover to cover multiple times, and every time I read I again, I learn something new.

Just o.k. Wish the book gave more in terms of real life, personal manifestations of planets in each nakshatra.

This is one of the best and most important books on Vedic astrology/astronomy ever published in either the West or in India, I say without exaggeration. Radhe has done students of the Vedic tradition an enormous service by pulling together the most ancient references to the Nakshatras (asterisms of the Hindu lunar zodiac) and the deities associated them. Her analysis of these myths, some dating back over 5000 years, is enormously insightful.Every serious student of ancient stars will benefit from this research. I relished every page.

Quite in-depth, but it was a bit jumbled and hard to dig out specific information.

I study the Nakshatras in depth, and am always on the lookout for good books on them. Unfortunately, most of the books out there are very disappointing.This one is not. It's an excellent exploration of each Nakshatra using the Puranas and other classical sources and shares valuable revelations about their meanings.It's one of the only books on Nakshatras that I recommend to my students.My Highest Recommendations!

Best book on the Nakshatras and their deities!! Each deity is explained in depth! The author has done extensive research from various historical sources, so there is plenty of information here for students of vedic astrology or for anyone doing research on the nakshatras!!!
