Tendak VGA to HDMI Adapter, Output 1080P VGA Male to HDMI Female Audio Video Cable Converter Support 1080P and USB Power for Laptop Desktop HDTV HD Projector

I had upgraded my TV but found, much to my chagrin, the TV lacked a dedicated VGA port for my HTPC. The HDMI port on the graphics card had gone out and the integrated HDMI port for the onboard graphics isn't functional in Windows 10 yet, so I had no choice but to use VGA or DVI. There are several DVI-to-HDMI solutions out there that eliminate the need for extra cables or power, but unfortunately they do not carry sound as well. This device, however, is perfect. Coupled with a 6.5' AmazonBasics HDMI cable, it works flawlessly. It was an ugly solution, but saved me $100+ as I don't need to replace my video card at this time. There was no need for setting anything up or adjusting any settings. Just connect the VGA cable end to your PC, plug in the 3.5mm audio cable into either the headphone port or dedicated audio port on your mobo, plug in the provided microUSB cable into the adapter and the USB into an available port on the PC, then connect the HDMI cable to both the TV and the adapter and you're golden.

Great customer service, they really try to make sure that your product will work, instantly emailed me to let me know if I had any problems to contact them. The product itself is wonderful, I just plugged it in and it worked fine, my computer automatically adjusted its resolution. One minor thing though, one time I turned on my computer and no signal came through so I unplugged everything and it worked again, maybe just a USB power problem? Not sure but it hasn't happened again

Worked Great for 2 days. Very easy setup. The micro USB cable that came with it was really cheap and went bad. I tested the cable with other devices and it did not work. Once I replaced the USB cable with a better one, it works great again (glad I had Spare). I would not buy unless you have a spare micro USB cable. Now I have sound and video to my TV. The Picture is good. as good as you can get out of an analog signal. I have a 48'' LED TV. The Display is Clear and able to read the text with no problem (not blurry at all). The sound is stereo sound.

I purchased the “Tendak HD 1080P VGA to HDMI Output TV AV HDTV Video Cable Converter Plug and Play Adapter with Audio Input for Laptop Desktop”. I will be honest, I wasn’t even hopeful that it would work. I have purchased products like this in the past and haven’t worked.Taking it out of the box, I noticed the thick wires which I really liked because that meant it would stand to some wear and tear. However, the plastic case it is all attached to seemed very cheap, which is the only downside to the construction of the product.When I tried to connect this from my laptop to my 46” TV to watch an ESPN event everything worked except for the sound. I went through the fairly good troubleshooting guide, but to no avail. I started wiggling the 3.5mm audio cord and nothing. Finally, I started pulling it out thinking it was another piece of junk, but when I was pulling it out the sound came on. So I put it back in and did not put it in all the way and it worked fine. I do not know if this is the product or if it was from my wife when she dropped my laptop which an audio cord in it and bent it all up. Therefore, I cannot say if it was the product or some damage my wife did to the laptop, so it will not affect my overall star rating. However, if you have a similar problem, try moving the audio chord out slowing to see if sound comes out.Would I buy this again? DEFINATLY!!! In fact, I still my buy another one from my projector.

When the cable arrived I was pleased with what I saw. It looked well constructed and packaged nicely. Once I began using it I began having issues with the cable sporadically becoming disconnected. I tried other HDMI cables hoping this was the issue, but the problem remained and now it's too late to return it and I'm stuck with an inferior product that I can't depend on. :(

The item I received had intermittent red channel and audio which we were unable to resolve. The vendor replaced it with a new one which works perfectly; great picture and sound quality.

Works great. This connects a computer that has a VGA but doesn't have a HDMI socket to a TV that only has HDMI. Picture and sound to to the TV and looks very good. The product image doesn't show the power cord from the HDMI box mini USB to a USB on the computer and it has to be plugged in to work.

This product worked fine for the first week, but now there is a pinkish hue projected from the monitor that I cannot seem to get rid of. This is the only cord that does this. I would not buy this product again especially for the amount of money I paid for it.
