I purchased one of the expensive Nespresso Vertuo machines in search of enjoying great cups of coffee. While it does do that well, the money spent on coffee capsules was exceeding that of gas for the car. Along comes these cute silicone My-Cap solutions. Genius! Yes, they do work. I suggest having at least two of the silicon caps with the holes in it if you make multiple cups in a row, reason being those capsules are rather hot when the pop out after brewing and it's not fun plucking the silicon cap off until it cools off. I haven't used the solid silicon lid yet to keep the capsule fresh since I make my capsules on the fly but it looks convenient for those who want to make their capsules in advance.The little round My-Cap filter papers fit fine, although I prefer buying the much cheaper Aeropress filter papers instead (they are slightly larger but still work great). But the My-Cap silicon cap with the holes in it I love. It hasn't failed yet after about 50 uses, though like most silicon things I imagine it will eventually need replaced months from now the more it gets used and abused. You just put your coffee grounds in an empty Nespresso Vertuo pod, tamp it down, toss a paper filter on top of it and put the silicon cap with holes on top of that. Throw it in the machine and let the magic happen.Tip: If you don't want to mess with coffee grounds and paper filters you can instead buy some of the Senseo or Melitta soft coffee pods (the ones that look like round tea bags) when they are on sale. Since they come with a built-in paper filter you can just toss a soft coffee pod into any empty Nespresso Vertuo capsule and slap on the My-Cap silicon cap with the holes in it. Easy loading, easy cleanup. Not as cheap as packing your own capsules with coffee grounds but still cheaper than the Nespresso capsules plus it is a much faster and easier cleanup.Nespresso isn't a brand rather it's a technology owned by Nestle, there's companies such as De'longhi and Breville that are licensed to make machines that use the Nespresso tech with strict construction guidelines (hence why the machines look and act similar). "Vertuo" is just the name of the product line of the various machines to separate it from the original product line. So far I have used these My-Cap silicon caps in a Breville Vertuo Plus and a De'longhi Vertuo Evoluo and they performed the same (though for the record I prefer the Evoluo for looks and less chance of leakage). First use review- If my opinion changes I’ll be back.. :)At first glance I thought, “yeah, a bit overpriced” as others have said. The packaging was efficient but left something to be desired.I immediately unpacked and read instructions.I cleaned silicone pieces per instructions and then loaded some fine ground coffee from my stash into the empty Stormio pod.The filter fits perfectly, the silicone is maybe .25mm too big but fits into the pod fine.The machine accepted it no problem, brewed me a cup and spit the “used” pod out with no issues. Nice crema and seemed like any other pod!I was expecting my coffee to taste a bit stronger but that is no fault of the product- the fun part comes when figuring out which pod to reuse to get the flavor one is after. Thanks to this My-Cap the process will be easy and enjoyable.The only reason I’m not going 5star is a feel price is a bit high.I’m happy I purchased.

I'm so happy they finally made one for the vertuoplus. It works well and I can look forward to my morning cup of coffee with the coffee grounds that I like and without any guilt about cost. It is difficult to discard the top of the capsule completely and cleanly but once you do then it's very easy to make your cup of coffee again and again

I absolutely love this cap! I can now make a cup of coffee using my Nespresso Virtuoline with any coffee I choose. The best part is that the coffee is fantastic with just the right amount of crema. Other than taste, there is no difference at all between using a brand new Nespresso pod versus reusing a Nespresso pod with this cap. I am so happy to have found this as I find the Nespresso coffee to be overrated, not as tasty as some other brands, and expensive.

Everything I have ever purchased made of silicone is pretty much bulletproof… Not so with this cap. It's torn through the holes after only three months use. If the vendor contact me and replaces it, I will change this review. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the simplicity of this and the lack of planet pollution. Also I enjoy using my own coffee which I prefer over the Nespresso brands.

As long as you don't over or unload your capsule it works perfectly. 👌 So be sure to load it with just enough room to place a paper filter and this silicone cap so that it sits flush with the inner lip of the coffee capsule and your good to go.

After the second or third time we used it, the machine tried to eat it! It is now useless. We loved the option of using our favorite coffee!

Works ok. Not loving it. Ended up buying foils to use instead so I can make up a few and have them ready. With this top you have to fill capsule right before you use it. Found the lid difficult to clean.

Leider bekam ich nicht den abgebildeten Artikel, sondern nur den ohne das stabilisierende "Kreuz" auf der Unterseite. Das ist schon das zweite Mal passiert. Die Versandkosten sind für eine Plastikscheibe mit ca. 4cm Durchmesser,im Papierumschlag verpackt, extrem hoch(fast10 €!!!) Darum sehe ich von Umtausch ab. Es funktioniert zwar mit dem Kreuz um Einiges besser,aber der Kaffee ist trotzdem gut.Leider hat dieser Anbieter wohl noch das Monopol für den Verkauf dieses Artikels. Sollte sich daran etwas ändern, bin ich sofort bei nem anderen Händler.Momentan ist für die Nespresso ventuo einfach nichts an vergleichbaren Alternativen auf dem Markt. Und die Originalkapseln kosten incl. Versand umgerechnet zwischen 80ct u. 1,20€ pro Tasse Kaffee. Leider

Super facile a nettoyer. Par contre, il faut bien ajuster la pastille dans le centre du Nespresso cup et surtout, ne pas oublier de mettre un filtre ( vous pouvez acheter des filtres à café et les découper pour que ça coûte encore moins cher ). Beaucoup d’économies sur l’achat de Nespresso cup ( utilisation avec une Nespresso Virtuoline) . Beaucoup plus écologique et économique!

J’ai acheté ce produit pour réduire mon coût des capsules Nespresso. Voilà qui est fait et ça fonctionne très bien. Le seul hic c’est les papiers filtres qui ne viennent pas en quantité avec cet article

The lid Is way to big, otherwise it is ok for the price. Little tricky putting coffee in but gets better with practice.

Very good product. Will buy more. Makes great cup of coffee with lots of crema.
