Works exactly as it specified, replacement battery for the Astro A50 headset, second time I have replaced the battery in almost 6 years, so we have gotten our moneys worth out of these headphones and batteries.

My older Gen 2 Astro A50 headset was in great condition and just needed a new battery. I'm glad I replaced the old battery as it puffed up into a potentially dangerous situation. This new battery adds new life to an old headset that works great and lasts a long time on a charge. The downside is it needs to be soldered, but that's not the fault of the battery manufacturer but rather the design of the Astro A50 headset. I highly recommend this product.

Battery works perfectly. My original battery wouldn't hold a charge for ling snd eventually wouldn't turn on at all. This one is just like when it was new. It has plenty of wire. The wires come already stripped at the end and all I needed was a pocket knife, a small screw driver, and soldering nail to replace my battery. 10 put of 10

The description says for Astro A50, but if you look at the picture, it won't fit because it is longer. I have the Astro A50 3rd Gen PS4, and I bought the 800mah from another seller and fits perfectly.This one has 900mah, and it is longer than the original, I didn't know the original was 800mah. Seller should make sure this battery fits, and clearly it doesn't. I'm leaving 4 stars because I want this review to show so I can help others.Thank you.

If you have a basic soldering iron you can do this super easily, and revitalize your expensive headset back to life! Also recommend new ear pads as well and tada brand new headset.

This was a direct replacement to my Gen 2 A50's. So far it's holding a charge very well.

Considering im seeing people say it also doesnt fit gen 3ss im quite confused if this even fits any of the a50s.Seems like it fits the gen 2s but how is there that much of a dimension discrepancy between mine and the very next a50s??Waste my time and money and here i am with a pair of a50s all apart :(Gonna have to just do it all over again.

Installed this new battery into the A50 headphones. Old battery would die after about an hour. Now the headphones work like they did when new. There was enough solder on the connections that I didn't have to add any additional. New battery wires were pre-stripped and ready to be soldered onto board.
