Polyvine - Glass Frosting Varnish - 500ML

Easy to use, dabbed it on a clear vase. Looks like it's been outside in the frost. Love it!

Used this before and was impressed at ease of use.Ok but would not recommend it on shower screens or any high condensation/wet areas.

After washing the excess doesn't etch the glass at all... Very disappointed 😔

I bought this thinking it would work like armour etch. This is not like that - it is more like a paint. Maybe this is my fault for not understanding. I did find it very hard to get proper instructions on how to use, how many coats to give, how long to leave on etc. Once applied it is very easy to scrape off. It might be useful for some applications, but was not what I was expecting.

Waste of time & money

I'm a great fan of polyvine products but this is not my favourite. It is very thick and not easy to pour from the bottle. Once you've managed to get it out it requires at least 4 coats to get an even finish with enough coating and the drying team between coats is excessive compared to other polyvine products. I am not confident that it will be possible to fully empty the bottle. On a more positive note a little seems to go a long way.

It doesn’t frost glass, it just smears the glass and leaves a bad finish.
