If you have hearing issues these are for you!
I am extremely impressed by these. A few years ago my dad had sudden hearing loss. Hearing aids work somewhat but still don’t allow him to hear well. I bought these for myself but was curious about whether they would allow him to hear. Because they are bone conducting headphones and he didn’t have damage to the bone, he could immediately hear in his deaf ear after he put them on. Needless to say, I gave them to him but I am thoroughly impressed!!

NOT a "Bone Conduction" Headphone!
This is NOT a "bone conduction" headphone. It is simply small speakers that sit near your ears. The unit is not adjustable, and the "speakers" do not make firm contact with your bones. Even when I pressed the "speakers" against my bones, there was NO bone conduction. With my external hearing loss I was really looking forward to hearing in stereo again, but this unit will not work for that, since it is NOT a bone conduction headphone.

Bone conduction headphones, satisfied.
I really like listening to music while running or driving. But I also know that this is not safe. For security reasons, I need to know what is going on in my environment, so I am attention about bone conduction headphones. I have read many products and comments about bone conduction headphones. I think this is the best choice.Bone conduction headphones have surprisingly high sound quality and are very comfortable to wear. Most importantly, it allows me to hear the sound of my surroundings, which is very good and safe. The price is also reasonable. On the battery side, I have been using it for 6 hours now, and it seems to be able to use it for a long time.Overall, I gained the security awareness benefits without losing good sound quality. Now, I have been wearing this headset while I am running and driving. I am satisfied with the product.

Not real bone conduction headphones
I am on a quest. To find the best bone conduction headphones. This was my first challenge and sadly, it didn't fare well at all. Since this is a fairly new technology, we need to know what we're actually buying. These headphones are NOT bone conduction.. Keyword here is conduction. Lets look at it a little more. There are basically two methods of creating sound. Speakers and transducers. While these are in some ways the same, there are key differences. Speakers have transducers, on big speakers, the paper cone and magnets all work to make sound audible. Huge speakers you see when you go to a concert are essentially the same as the smallest ear buds you put in your ears. Just a lot bigger and powerful."A speaker is a type of transducer that converts electrical energy (the audio signal) into mechanical energy (the vibration of the speaker cone and diaphragm). This vibration transfers kinetic energy to the surrounding air, which results in sound waves that can be heard. The speed of vibration determines the frequency."But for bone conduction headphones, merely moving the speaker to touch the bone near your ear is not true conduction. OF course you can "hear" the sound without putting anything in your ear, but it's simply a tiny speaker that's vibrates and you hear it similarly to those ear buds."How bone conduction systems work. Bone anchored hearing systems are designed to use your body's natural ability to transfer sound through bone conduction. The sound processor converts sounds into vibrations, which are then sent through your skull bone and directly on to your inner ear."With a true bone conduction transducer, it's basically the step before the speaker creates sound. With true transducer sound, the bones in your head near your ears essentially become the speakers. Make sense? Of course, there is still some audible output but it's not very loud as there is nothing connected to the transducer until it comes in contact with your head. You are the speakers! Try putting your transducer headphones on a box, it'll make the box the speaker..:)These headphones simply create sound and it imitates the same processes but is not true transducer headphones. The sound is muddy and neither loud or clear. I tried them for a few minutes and set up a return to Amazon. They were not worth keeping.I'll review the second set i got today..FYI: I decided to do this because of Amazon's return policy. I am buying these, there's no freebie's on these various units. Of course if companies want me to review their products, feel free to contact me.

Highly recommend.
These are absolutely fantastic. I'm handicapped and I go to the gym 5 days a week and I was using some Sony headphones that are also over-the-ear & sound absolutely great, but they have a wire. These these are different in the sense that they are more like speakers for your ear, tiny speakers for your ear, rather than tiny speakers that sit inside of your ear. They lacki in bass, but that makes sense being since they are small. They paired well with my phone and everything is good now. Highly recommended! very highly!

At $40 it's a steal
I have seen several different bone conduction headphones that go for over $100 and I had been dying to know what it sounds like to have the music played through your bones. Although the sound quality isn't as premium as a pair of regular headphones, you are getting quality sound that isn't muffled. It's a comfortable fit and the headphones sit over your ears and are out of the way. There is sound leakage but if you're buying this mainly for jogging or biking outside, to be aware of your surroundings, that shouldn't be a factor in your decision. Also the fact that it is water resistant is a plus since I like to jog with these on. Overall it's an exceptional product at a great price and I truly believe that if you're looking for bone conduction headphones at a good value this is a great option.

I would recommend these to someone I don't like...
I guess I will start with the PROS:-You can really get into a deep conversation while wearing these, since they won't actually play music-If safety is important to you, you are really going to love being able to hear oncoming traffic (or people trying to sneak up on you). You can hear it as well as if you weren't even wearing headphones! ....because they stopped working in the middle of your run.-No need for an alarm clock! After these headphones stop working and won't charge they will magically try to connect to your phone very loudly while you sleep-I did get some extra steps in my day since I had to walk into the UPS store to exchange the first pair, so I guess that's good. Now on to the CONS:-I had to talk to people-I had to stop in the middle of my run to try to re-pair them to my phone...it really messed up my time.-the 1st pair lasted 1 1/2 runs-the 2nd pair lasted 5 runs-no case to carry them in
