This is a great sunshade! Very well made. Easy to install. I love it because it can stay on with my soft top on as well. No need to remove it. It’s SOOO nice to have it on while driving on bright sunny days. It protects you from sunburn while still letting some light thru! Highly recommend!

This is the perfect addition to my TJ to help keep cool (and look cool) in the hot Alabama Gulf Coast summers. It makes a considerable difference in the amount of sun light that one is exposed to when compared to just having the top down. It also cuts down on road wind. The installation is accomplished using provided bungee cords that are a bit difficult to install, especially if you have hand issues, but once installed, it need never come off as the soft top covers it when up. I'm happy with it. Oh, and you get a neat alien with it.

Put it on my 1999 wrangler - looks really good. Very easy to put on. Goes over speakers on roll bar. It's tight. I've driven on the freeway with ever so slight flap but that's expected. My canvas top will go over and close so you don't have to remove, very nice. I like open air convertibles, especially the jeep, and this does not detract from that at all. Still get the outdoor wind/feel but now with some shade.Btw, there is a half size available that just shades the front seats. I thought about it but went with the full length and I'm very happy with that. Covers backseat passengers and blocks front from sun coming from the rear

Easy to install and looks great

This is my second style of mesh shade for my Jeep TJ. The previous one I had was a different company and was $34 ish dollars. The Alien Sun shade product from this company via this review is more expensive, yes, BUT WELL WORTH IT. The fabric is stiffer/thicker so I know it will last. This provided MORE shade but allows breeze and light through, especially here in Arizona and is perfect. This product will definitely last me MANY years. The bungee cords are absolutely a step up in quality VS the cheaper mesh shade products. Overall, I am extremely happy. I will definitely be looking to get another one of this brand if they have them for the JL’s. >PS. This is my 4th or 5th Amazon product review in several years. So for me to leave a review, truly says how much I support the product. 5 stars.

It’s a simple install, but I think I initially got confused. I went back to the purchase to look up install but I also looked at a card that came with it, that I originally thought was a sticker. Between the two, I managed to figure it out. And I think I was having difficulty reading the card, even with my reading glasses on. So maybe the manufacturer can include a larger/clearer install sheet.I do like the simplicity of the install once I understood.I have about 2-3 inches of space on the left and right side of the shade cloth that the sun comes through and that’s a bit irritating. It would be great if stretched all the way across, side to side.I purchased this because I needed protection from the sun front to back, as I’ve been taking my son out in the Jeep lately and summer made me realize he was too exposed to the elements. It does great on that account. Also, I previously had a bikini top on it (front cab only) and with the shade cloth in place of, it was kind of meet being able to see above the roofline. It gave it a more open feel.

Easy to install. Looks great! Quality materials & excellent product! Gives great shade while still giving you the view and helps with wind noise when going topless. Super happy so far! Quality materials that I can tell are going to last for years to come.I purchased this before I went to pick up my ‘94 YJ. The seller had an old bikini top that secured with Velcro & about 30min down the highway the Velcro came loose and was hitting me in the face. Ugh. I knew I should have swapped them out from the start! (Mind you, that one went straight into the trash when I got home). So... I pulled over & put this top on instead. I installed it alone on the side of the road with no problems: put the bungee loops around my wrists & went in this order to balance/stretch it evenly so I didn’t have to struggle. Front center first (short bungee), then front driver, passenger back corner, driver back corner, passenger front, and then all the ones in-between. It fits perfectly under the cab cover I bought & installed yesterday (we were expecting rain today). Loving it!
