La Choy Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce & Marinade, 14.5-oz. Bottle

I really do like using this LA Choy terriyaki sauce because it's nice and thick. It clings well to my chicken pieces when I marinate them. The flavor is really good too ALTHOUGH I do add brown sugar to it... just FYI. I prefer my terriyaki sauce to be a bit sweeter and when I add some brown sugar to this sauce, it's just right!! I've tried practically every available terriyaki sauce online and at local grocery stores. For some reason this one works best for me with adding the brown sugar. There are a couple other good sauces out there that don't need any additional help but they cost too much. I'm not willing to pay $10 for a jar of terriyaki sauce. Thus LA Choy is only about $3 and I always have brown sugar on hand. I've used this to make oven-baked terriyaki chicken breasts with grilled pineapple and onion. I've also used it to make beef terriyaki skewers by cutting steak meat very thin and wrapping on the skewers. Marinating them in this sauce and then grilling them with occasionally brushing on more sauce while they cook. They come out really delicious!

This is a good teriyaki but it's a bit sweeter than I expected. The sweetness might be just what some people want but I will try another brand. The thickness is good, like a thicker salad dressing. It comes in a glass bottle. I was worried it would break in shipment but it arrived in perfect condition! The price was reasonable when I ordered.

Great sauce for dipping or marinade, but please request bubble wrap,bottles are glass or order 1 at a time or you can get used to cleaning sauce of porch, table, etc.

Sweet but not too sweet good flavor

09/30/24: Bought this to punch up some chicken ramen I ordered by mistake. It works well enough, if a bit too sweet for me. And that's after I doctored it with Cayenne for a capsaicin kick. It needs to be in a safe plastic bottle with a flip top cap. The glass is too heavy, can break, and is a pain to deal with. I have enough to last for a while but when it's gone I'll definitely be looking elsewhere.
