Hood molding
Does not fit as good as factory but it does fit satisfactory

Good quality.
Fit and finish are good, after trimming the extra plastic from the manufacturing process. Won’t go in place until you do. Other than that, I would recommend. It is completely flat in the box but easily flexes to match the curve of the hood.

Installation help here!
Finally installed after reading review that said: after trimming the extra plastic from the manufacturing process. Won’t go in place until you do. ; When I used a knife to cut the 2 tabs, it went into place easily! Here’s a photo of the tabs tonight, then the clips and the three 10mm screw type nuts finished off the installation.

it's in there, we will see how long that lasts, but I'm pretty optimistic based on the install
This seemed difficult to install at first, but when I used a 90 degree pick to pry down on the smaller nubs on the molding to clear the lower front edge of the hood, it was easier to snap every clip right into place and seemed to hold very securely. I was then able to install the three cutting nuts I had removed from the old broken factory Ford piece and secure those points down (used a 1/4" drive socket driver with my finest no-name generic chrome 10mm socket and it was sufficient to seat the nuts fully, no ratchet or deep well needed). I've now been through the most violent and expensive of Casey's gas station car washes twice and it hasn't moved yet. Will update in a few months as I'm in the Oklahoma Dust Bowl right now and we aren't likely to see rain for awhile and I will be washing daily or every other day for the foreseeable future. It was another less harsh "gentle soft touch" tunnel style car wash that removed the loose original molding after 16 years and 255,000 miles, so the gas station autowash at Casey's with the thick rubbery foam brushes is probably the best torture test there is for trim like this.

needs other retainers for pegs
This product fit my truck hood great EXCEPT for the fact that the end of the item and the middle of the time of basically just a post (no threads). There should be something like a rubber washer that is a snug fit to this part of the product to help keep it next to the metal of the hood since there is a curve to the hood design there anyway. Had to use the black support piece for that with some jerryrigging. I will be going to lowes today to find what I need and replace the "make due" part. also when I opened the package it looked like the item had two broken clips but it turns out that I would have had to remove them any way with the design of the holes for the clips on the hood.
