I love this heating pad. The fabric is soft and there are many options for heat and shut off times. However, there is one thing that any buyer should be aware of. The ON/OFF button is independant from the timer button. What that means is that you first turn it on and then set your shutoff time. You MUST, MUST, MUST turn OFF the pad when you are done. Otherwise, any bump to the controls can turn it back on. Depending on where that heating pad ends up, I would think that it could have the potential to start a fire. It took me awhile to realize why it was on when it was previously showing that it was off because it had timed out. I would get up from the chair and toss it to the side. The control would bump something and turn it back on as I walked away. I would come back a half hour later and see the display lights glowing again.

This heating pad is so much nicer than my old one. This heating pad is super soft, very flexible and heats evenly/quickly. It’s double sided and made of a nice micro-plush material. It measures 12x24 and it’s perfect for upper and lower back, arms, legs, shoulders, stomach, anywhere really. The material conforms to wherever you put it. It also comes with a elastic strap to secure the heating pad in place if needed.My daughter is a gymnast and constantly comes home needing to apply heat to an injury or pulled muscle. This heating pad is perfect for that. It has 6 different heat settings and 4 timer settings that go from 30 minutes up to 120 minutes. As a mom I can appreciate the auto shut off as well. It always used to worried me that she would fall asleep with the heating pad on in her bed and possibly burn herself or even catch fire. I don’t have to worry about that with this heating pad. She can set it and forget it and it will shut off on its own.

Pros: This pad is very soft and a nice size. The velcro belt that goes around the pad is very handy because it helps keep the pad on the spot you want it on, even if you move or turn over. It has several timer settings and heat settings. These are all plusses.Cons: It never really got very warm, even at the hottest setting, but it did help when I first got it. I haven't used it very much, but the other day I needed to use it. There was no heat at all coming out of it even at the highest setting.It has a two year guarantee. I emailed the seller 3 days ago and haven't heard back. I sent another email this time from the Amazon website. I hope I hear from them before I have to contact Amazon about this matter. It's a shame because except for the heat problems which others have mentioned, it's a very nice heating pad.

PROS:* adjustable heat level* adjustable timer* large surface area - great for shoulders or back!CONS:* the cover isn’t removable. There are instructions for washing the entire pad, but they say to do it only when necessary. I’ve made a little removable cover from a tshirt, as I often use it on my shoulders, neck and head and don’t want to get it gross with my hair products. I’d rather not chance needing to wash it often. I didn’t even check when I bought it that it did or did not have a removable cover because I’d never seen a heating pad without one, so now I know to check.* when I’ve had it on my lower back it’s gotten squished up and it was difficult to try to reshape. Other heating pads I’ve had were vinyl with removable covers and kept their shape easier.All in all, I love that this heating pad gets hotter than many others, has variable heat settings, and has a variable timer (instead of just one set time with an auto shutoff). There are things I’d change if I could, but it’s still a great product.

This product could be 5 stars if it worked consistently. I don't know if the controller has to be in the perfect position or there has to be no pressure or some pressure on the pad itself, but it will either come on for a few minutes then stop or not start at all. I bought this a little over a year ago and these issues started months ago. Its really aggravating when your in severe pain from a chronic disease and can't get up to make a hot water bottle because it hurts so much. I'm on disability so I'm poor, I buy this thing and then it doesn't work after 6 months. Its really depressing because for the short time it did work it really made a big difference in pain control.

I am sincerely impressed with this heating pad! It's incredibly soft with a plush feel and is just the right size for what I wanted. I know some people thought it isn't big enough but the dimensions are consistent with the very clear the description. It even comes with a separate elastic and velcro band if you want to wrap it around you and hold it in place. There are 6 different temperature settings which I love because it can turn be turned up higher when wearing thicker clothing, or lower if it's going on bare skin. It also has a timer to choose how long until the auto shut off occurs. This goes from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Another feature I love! I am genuinely very pleased with this heating pad and recommend it. May even buy a couple more to give as gifts!

So like I really like this product alot because not only is it a heating pad for back pain or pain relief but it can also be considered a posture fixture. Ive been using this everyday at home because its been so cold and since i always slouch so much while on the computer this helps remind me to keep my back straight while keeping me warm. Oh and also helps me relieve my back pain from all the slouching bad habits. Overall a really awesome product that is so useful, helpful and easy to use. Definitely recommended! If you are cold or have slouching issue or have back pain as well. Or just any pain throughout your body.

This heating pad worked awesome for a brief time. I loved that it is super soft, has so many temperature options, and is longer than usual pads. I was able to use it vertically to cover the majority of my back. I could also wrap it around other areas with pain like my foot or knee. These things were awesome until the control stopped working. Now, it comes on correctly for about 30 seconds then begins blinking with no heat. Of course the issues began after the return window was closed.
