This particular variant is bleach-free but still claims to kill 99.9% of germs, which is perfect for me because I’m not a huge fan of the strong bleach smell. The gel is a vivid blue color and thick enough to really cling to the bowl. The “Max Coverage” design isn’t just a gimmick – the nozzle dispenses a nice wide stream that coats under the rim and the sides of the bowl as you squeeze and circle it around. I usually let it sit for about 10 minutes to penetrate. There’s a bit of a chemical scent (to be expected), but it’s not overwhelming or super bleachy. Then I scrub with a toilet brush as usual.
