NO! Mfg. claims it has an Antibacterial cover ... which, by definition, is NOT antimicrobial. Otherwise, my brace works REALLY well and is producing desired results ... so says my Therapist. Best of Luck!

Q: Is there neoprene anywhere in this product?

You'd have to ask the manufacturer. None visible. Entire unit is covered in soft fabric with what feels like foam beneath it.

Q: is the part of the brace at the fingers soft like a sock or does it have support inside to keep the fingers from squeezing the support together?

It has support at the base of the wrist and under the fingers right up to the elbow at the back of the arm. The top part is soft like a sock and there are small pieces of sock-like fabric that fits between the main fingers with a strap going over those four fingers on the top. Thumb has a separate strap.
