Frontier Quick Draw Electronic Target Shooting Set

Excellent gift and lots of fun for everyone.

Purchased this toy despite the mixed reviews. In hindsight, I should have been more cautious. The gun did not work at all, so it could not be played even once. Workmanship is shoddy and cheap. The toy was manufactured in China; there is no manufacturer contact at all on the box or the instruction sheet so there is no way to obtain replacement parts if one part does not work. Amazon issued a refund very promptly, but it still doesn't fix my kids' disappointment about their favorite Christmas present not working.

I was hesitant to purchase this because so many reviewers noted that the toy arrives defective or quickly becomes defective, but I gave it a try anyway. My four year old twins really like this toy. They got it for Xmas (6 weeks ago) and it is still working great. We haven't had any problems. Adults come to the house and enjoy playing with it, and even a few two year olds who come over have tried really hard to play (they seem to have trouble pulling the trigger, but this toy isn't made for a two year old so that doesn't detract from my five star rating). One of my girls plays with this toy six or seven times a day! She loves it! The original batteries I put into the toy at Christmas are still going strong. I paid $40 for this toy. In light of my personal experience with this toy, and that it continues to be a big hit with my young children and their friends, I am glad I purchased it.

We got this toy for my son for Christmas. He is 4 years old and absolutely loves it! He walks around the house with his toy gun shooting all the stuffed animals and loves that is makes noises. It took a while for my 2 kids to figure out how to shoot the stuff off the log because you actually shoot below the jars. If you shoot directly at them, it won't work. The sensor is in the log itself. I found this toy in a catalog that we received in the mail and decided to do some research before I ordered it. I am glad I did because I found it $13 cheaper on amazon and got free shipping. Yay!

This thing is pretty cool.. I bought it for my boy for Christmas. He's still a bit young (5), but he loves it. I used to have the original tin can alley when i was a kid, so I wanted to get him something similar. It shoots an IR beam that makes a piston pop up and knocks down your targets on the log base. You can use the included plastic targets, or put something up with similar weight. The targets it comes with are actually done well. The gun makes firing sounds as well. I'd recommend you keep the box to store it in when not in use. It was a little pricy, but I think it's worth it. You'll not be dissapointed

The company that made it before this one made them perfect, now it's just worthless.

I got this for my husband for Christmas, and our whole family has had fun using it. We have three boys, the older two (7 and 9) can actually shoot at the targets, our 3 year old enjoys just shooting the gun since it makes an animated cartoonish shooting sound.We do find that to make the targets explode, it's best to shoot at the log right under the target. Would definately buy this toy again.

Bought this as a gag christmas gift for my sons. They are 21 and 27. What guy doesnt still want a toy for christmas? They both loved it and was a hit all christmas day. It is sturdy and the bottle breaking sounds are very realistic.
