This was exactly what I needed on my recent trip to Amsterdam. It allowed me to charge my phone and use my curling iron. It was perfect and small fitting my suitcase, spare easily exactly what I needed.

I purchased this for our family trip to Italy in April 2023. Worked perfectly and as described by the seller. Used my hair dryer in the converter socket (labeling not the best…it’s the one that doesn’t say “adapter”) with no issues. I also accidentally plugged my hair dryer into the “adapter” socket once and nearly destroyed my hair dryer (noticed it sounded weird and got really hot)…just pay close attention to which socket you are using and you’ll be fine.Carrying bag and extra socket styles for travel to other countries was a good bonus.Only complaint is that because if it’s sizing it would tend to tilt sometimes from its own weight in some of the looser EU sockets (older apartment we stayed in Rome). Still worked fine though.

I purchased this in late March for my overseas trip in October (I plan ahead). I plugged in a straightener that had been used a handful of times in the U.S. before my trip, and within 10 seconds, it started smoking. I immediately shut it off. I just returned from my trip, and the straightener no longer works in any outlet in my home. The hair dryer I tried using before the straightener smelled, and I had to purchase a hair dryer overseas. This was so upsetting. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

I still gave this a good rating because I *did* see the note that a straightener without an electronic display should be used and I ignored that honking maybe mine would be okay since it was an approved brand. I found this to not be the case lol. It basically turned my straightener into the hottest thing ever, even on the lowest setting. I have coily hair and I used a towel to release some heat, so no major harm done, but I still didn’t even want to risk it, so I didn’t use it. I didn’t bring my blow dryer since I knew the hotels would have one, so I didn’t get to try that, but we bought a chi travel streamer and it worked just fine for that. Next time I’ll get a cheap straightener as intended. Used in Netherlands and France.

Bought this for my trip to Italy. Was able to use both hairdryer and curling iron without any problems. We also used it for the gaming system we brought. It included several different type of adapters which made it very universal and can be used at so many travel locations.

Pay attention! Many converters work great for low wattage devices—but many also lack the capacity to down-convert high wattage devices such as blow dryers. If you’re bringing a high wattage device on vacation, check the maximum wattage and check your device. If over 800 watts, bring this converter along also with the proper adapters

I had no issues with this device while in England and Egypt, both on land and while on a Nile River cruise ship. Compact with just the right amount of plug attachments.

I purchased this based in reviews and price. It was an all in one. It did the job but has flaws, but I wouldn’t purchase this again.Cons:1. It was very loose and wobbly in every outlet that I used. The prongs are not large enough for a secure fit. Whether I was in Ireland, Scotland and London.2. Bulky and cumbersome, I had to set something underneath it to keep it from falling out of the wall outlet.3. Fried my CHI hot brush first day in UK. Had to spend entire 10 day vacation looking like a Chia Pet.Pros:1. You can use USB cables and AC plugs at same time.2. Thank GOD it didn’t blow up my cPap machine.
