The shaft fit perfectly. Extended cab with a half rear door....chevy 1500 for people wondering. I measured the shaft like it's says in the description for a exact match. The truck had an aluminum shaft to begin with but this one will be just fine you don't need to replace with another aluminum shaft. They are more than double the cost than this one.

This is a direct replacement steel part for those who wish to be done with the OEM aluminum driveshaft

arrived very quickly, box was damaged but wood frame inside the box protected the side that fits in the u-bolt. fit my 06 silverado 1500 with a 143.5" wheel base. exactly what i expected and arrived before expected date, this was $200 less than direct from bodeman, i'm happy with the purchase.

Bodeman comapny changed my review I previously posted and they meet my complete satisfaction I return the part for refund even though when I entered my truck it said driveshaft would fit it did not (measure old driveshaft) .I order another driveshaft from bodeman after matching measurement it fits and my truck is back on the road Bodeman did all that I asked to earn a COMPLETLY SATISFIED thank you to Bodeman company

Package was ripped open and 2 caps had come off the universal joint. All of the needle bearings were floating around inside the bag. This was not the fault of the seller, however the paint job sucked. The paint run was so thick I wonder if it might change the balance of the drive shaft. It did fit though
