Austin Tactical LLC Z Tactical Softair Aviation Headset Headphone Comtac ii Headset for FAST Helmets and Peltor Helmet Rail Adapter Set

The point where helmet prongs attach to the ear muffs broke while installing it on my helmet. The instructions that came with it are garbage and don't apply to installing on helmet and seems to be for a completely different headset b/c battery installation doesn't apply to the set that i got. I have to go to work now, so i'll have to finish the review later...but so far its terrible.

For some reason the adapters keep popping off my helmet plus it doesn't come in a blue case. Also it doesn't help that it didnt came with instructions.

At the time I bought these, it was 20.99, now that is 85 dollars I cannot recommend. When it arrived, I got everything included, headset with rail mounts, rail mounts, and the blue case. The microphone didnt work right out of the box no matter what I did. The noise cancellation does work but I dont recommend this for real steel shooting. All in all this would be great for like a recreation outfit when it was 20.99, but now I cant recommend this, I removed the microphone and cut off the wires so I can use them as ear protection for airsoft.

Broke within 5 minutes of taking them out of the box. I had to wrap them in gorilla tape to make sure they didn’t fall apart on me when in the field. Both ear covers snapped away from there support arms. I do not recommend buying these.

The product looks great and fits well on my ears, but the connectors to the ear piece snapped after the first use, and you get a loud buzz in your ears when turning on/off and when you volume up/down

Decent headset for the price....Helmet adapter connection point broke during installation unfortunately. Would not recommend for range hearing protection for .308 or higher. On a good note, the sound amplification is satisfactory but not as good as actual peltors.

I have owned peltor comtac ii’s and these are a great budget option if you don’t want to spend too much on a headset.

Received everything listed - Blue Case, Comtac II, and the rail adapters. Fits onto my fast helmet perfectly. Havent used anything yet but looks great on my helmet setup. Fits nicely
