Sturdy, lightweight, black chalk/stuff bag.
It's a pretty dope chalk bag! The bungee closes tight, preventing spills from accidental foot contacts. The interior is big enough for guys like me with big mitts, and could even accommodate both hands for slighter individuals. I like the clean, simple black outer shell with no flashy branding. The side pockets are enough to hold a few small items (keys, phone, wallet), and there's even an interior velcro-closure pocket inside the bag...Actually, I have no idea why they put that pocket in there, it became filled with chalk dust rather quickly which means anything you store in there will become saturated in the stuff. However, if you're using this as a dog treats bag or a fanny pack or something, perhaps you've got a use for a sneaky interior pocket.Anyways, the construction of the thing is decent. I've dropped in on it a few times coming off of a boulder problem and it didn't care. Pretty light weight as well, after a minute you don't even feel it hanging from your belt when it's clipped on. Easy off, too because the belt loops on it have snap buttons.

Caddy, fanny Pack
Ok.... I am not a rock climber.... Where I work they got tired of people leaving their trash in a certain part of the building. It is a place where we install things. So people would come in with their boxes of components and conveniently forget to completely clean up after themselves. The decision from the big wigs was to remove all trash cans from the area which would make you have to take your trash with you. I got tired of putting the smaller bits of trash in my pockets. A coworker and I were joking around and he said "Why don't you get one of those little bags that the rock climbers have to carry their chalk. HAHAHAHAHA.... Hey... Wait a minute! So, Viola (or how ever else you spell it.) Well, I've found that this thing works well. I have to stop people from using me as a mobile trash can. I like it, it's lite and it has turned out to be not only a convenient trash can but a very convenient caddy.

Perfect for climbing.
The first thing it thought when I opened the box was, wow this is bigger than I thought. It seems smaller online but I'm not complaining too much (but the advertising is one reason for 4 stars). It doesn't catch my hand while I'm climbing so it's a quick chalk up. The exterior is made of canvas while the liner inside is made of nylon and with all the pockets you see on the outside, there's a secret pocket inside... shh.... The only thing I can think of putting there would be keys cause what would you put in a chalk bag that you didn't want to get chalk on, or in, like tiny cracks. The exterior pockets are nice too. The bigger pocket in the front fits my galaxy s5 perfectly, but it won't velcro. It doesn't seem like it would fall out unless you put it upside down but I would rather not climb with my phone. For one thing, if you fall on your back you could break your phone, and also you notice the weight of it. The only reason I would carry it is if I was expecting a call. When I do carry it though, it doesn't get chalk on it. The nylon really keeps all the chalk in. The drawstring is elastic and can be annoying to fully open the bag (another reason for the 4 stars) but closes very well so the loose chalk doesn't fall out. The interior lining is somewhat annoying because it seems too big for the bag so it bunches up at the bottom where all the loose chalk goes so I kinda have to search for it or just use my chalk sock (the last reason to take off one star). The buckles on the back can be used for a belt when bouldering or in addition to top/lead climbing but I put a carbiner on them and clip it to the back of my harness and it works perfectly but I do like the option that I can undo the buckles if I want and how large they are. A friend of mine had bought a chalk bag that had a belt on it when he got it and he didn't want the belt after a while and we still haven't gotten it off cause the loops the belt went through are too small. All and all it's a great chalk bag. I love it.

Mostly perfect chalk bag
Mostly perfect chalk bag. Nice sturdy material. I love how many pockets it's got and I'm sure I'll find more uses for them as I go, but for now it just holds my phone and wallet while I'm climbing with it. Unfortunately the velcro pocket is too shallow for an iphone 6s, but I can squeeze it into one of the side pockets for a nice, snug fit.The drawstring works well and the extra lace can just be tucked into one of the aforementioned pockets. The whole thing is pretty lightweight and despite requiring to be broken in a little, it sits upright fairly easily when on the ground. The only real drawback is that you need to use snap-on straps to attach it to your body somehow. I usually put it on my belt which is fine, but putting it on and taking it off is a bit more involved than a simple strap with a clip. Also if I were doing some serious outdoor climbing (which I don't), I'd want a surefire way of keeping this thing attached to me, and the snaps just don't instill that sort of confidence. That little bit aside, it's a stellar bag. I'm sure I can figure out a way to secure it better with a little bit of thought too.

I enjoy the multiple pocket features of this chalk bag
I enjoy the multiple pocket features of this chalk bag, but the good features stop there. I boulder and this bag is a poor substitute for my old bag. The bag is side-heavy, causing it to topple over frequently and spill my chalk. Furthermore, the drawstring is extremely difficult to open and close. I have to yank with both hands to even open the bag, which is a very slow ordeal. Closing the bag all the way will still result in chalk spilling all over the contents of my gym bag. I highly regret choosing this bag for my climbing; it will probably be better suited for a tool bag or treat bag (the chalk really makes the drawstring jerky and unmanageable).

Very unhappy with this product
UPDATE: After less than two month the draw string has severed. This is absolutely garbage invest in a more reputable brand unless you ca afford to buy one every other month. Works great and even kept most of the chalk in when turned upside down in my gym bag. The pockets are too small for me to get any real use but thats what a gym bag is for.
