Just what I needed for a good night sleep.
This mattress pad worked beyond my expectations. I had to buy the 2" because they did not sell a queen size in 3". However, it still did the job. When added with my down alternative mattress cover, it is like sleeping on a high quality, high priced new mattress. So, if you want to upgrade your mattress, I recommend this combination. It worked like a dream for me.

My doubts were unfounded!
I waited 12 hours to put this over the very hard foam mattress on a folding sofa bed. I was able to sleep well for the first night in 4 days. It made a world of difference to me. I like firm support, but my arthritis does not. This mattress gave me the buffer I needed. Egg side down on the firm mattress gave me a nice soft layer between me and the mattress. I recommend this product.

An answer to a too hot memory foam prayer.
We own an expensive hotel brand memory foam mattress. After 6 months with it the sole issue we have had is that memory foam is way, way too hot to sleep on, even up here in New England. It starts off cold and then you roast. I've bought cooling mattress pads, pillows, etc. Even that only helped a little.I remembered we had this type of bed pad on our old waterbed and thought, well for the price it's worth trying to see if it will let some air move between us and the memory foam, etc. I didn't want a thick one as the bed is already pretty high and it's all foam anyway and comfortable by itself except for the heat.I opened the pkg on the screen porch and ripped it getting it out (the reason for the 4 instead of 5 star rating). It needs to be in a slippery plastic inside the zippered pouch. I had trouble getting it out. I measured it then because it looked so tiny and it was 52 wide, not 56. I let it sit on the porch for 36 hrs to disperse the smell that just comes with these things and then put it on the bed and it did measure out at 56 as advertised. I put it over the bed protector and under the Iso-cool mattress pad. (insert fanfare) Yay! A night without being miserably hot and cold at the same time! Since then we've two more nights with the same effect and have both slept better than in months. I realize we may lose some of the "memory" part of the mattress but it's a darn lot better than chucking it at over $1500. All in all this little piece of foam is well worth it's price. Someone else said it flattens out in a month or two. I think perhaps putting it under the topper may help that but even if I have to buy 4 of these a year, that means sleeping better for about $11 a month and so be it!Sleep Better Iso-Cool 11-ounce Quilted Mattress Pad, Queen

Better than the others, at less than half the price.
I'm waiting for this pad to wear out or break down, but so far, it's a miracle in sleep improvement and I can't complain about that. My neck, back and joint soreness are all reduced, and I wake up without pain and WITH the energy I've been missing. Even if I have to replace this monthly, it's still priceless, so I can't understand the soreheads who downrated this pad because it looked too thin . I'm a bit curious about the Vaun pad, so I might buy one of those too, to compare them. At this price, that's affordable.

Not 2 inches!
Ordered the 2 in. Pad, afraid 3 in. Would have been too thick. Just needed a little padding for our firm mattress since we are side sleepers. Let this pad sit out for 1 day as directed. You can see that even measuring at the highest part of the mattress it is NOT 2 inches. Looks like the 1.5 in. Pad I could have bought at Fred Meyers for half the price! Not happy! Tried it on our bed anyway. Fits fine, but other than the egg crate feel you don't know it's there. Uugghh Gue I'll go. To Freddy's and just buy one to stack on this one

Very comfy
Comfortable and no smell to deal with! I am so glad there is something that’s not hot and is not memory foam.

You can do better..
It's whatever. Nothing great. It is pretty thin, super flimsy, lumpy, & the sizing is way off. I have a fairly new (under a year old) Queen size mattress so I purchased the queen size foam. The foam is not wide enough by at least 6-8". It is also probably 6" inches too long. The item comes wrapped up in a cylinder shape. And due to the way it is wrapped, it has weird ridges in it that are hard to flatten out. It's going back.

Great topper
We were booked on a cruise for last week and thru different msg boards online, I was concerned the mattress might be too hard even in a Suite on the ship.. thankfully I ordered this eggcrate topper to travel with us.. it came in a very tightly wound pkg..I checked it for delivery to my cabin. We placed it under the sheets and it honestly saved my back. I cannot say enough good things about this topper. For the money, the quality and the comfort, you cannot go wrong.I put it on my bed at home to see if it helps and I am so grateful! Finally something helps!!
