Very high quality
This game is of the highest quality. The cardboard is very thick and well made just like the high-quality pop-up book it is based on. The game itself is aesthetically pleasing and a very beautiful representation of feelings. The tokens slide smoothly into the jars which act as a memory game. Colors representing feelings are portrayed on the reverse side of each jar and need to be accurately remembered to win. The game is non-competitive as students work together for a common goal. Players discuss personal scenarios and strong feelings along the way. This game would be an excellent extension of The Color Monster book and teacher resource for pre-Kindergarten.

Loved the book
So my son knew the book first and it helped him understand the game. I'm not sure the game would be as easy for a younger kid to know without knowing the book. It does help with sorting emotions just like the book.

The game is very sturdy and well made. My k-2 grade students had fun expressing their feelings.

Love the game
The game itself is great. It gives me and my 11 yr old a way to work through our feelings when we hurt or anger each other. The pieces are good quality but the parts you put together I had to tape bc they wouldnāt stay together and part of the cardboard broke.

Disappointed
I really wanted to love this game, but the quality is disappointing for the price I paid. The shelves are nearly impossible to keep together, although the jars are nice and thick, the design is nice and kid friendly. My nine year-old grew tired of playing after a couple times. It may be better suited for younger children, or peer interaction.

Sometimes even challenging for adults
Overall the concept of the game is super easy. Its a memory match style game at its core. Kids can do this super easy but the tough part comes in when it requires adults and kids to share their feelings. Its a great tool to help kids learn how to share their feelings.
