I work in an office and wear a pair of black dress shoes to work most days. I have a variety of pairs of black dress shoes for that reason. However, one style of black shoe I did not yet have was a shiny, patent leather look, which is useful to have in your collection for special occasions like weddings or anything where there's dancing involved. Another feature of these shoes that I hadn't thought to look into before I bought them is that the soles are really smooth. There's essentially no texture on them except on the heel, and that is a good thing if you plan to be on the dance floor.When it comes to which pair of shoes to wear to work, I personally would not wear these because they are so smooth on the bottom and my commute involves trains, subways, and escalators that I need good traction on. I am not downrating the shoes for this, as they are excellent for the purpose I purchased them for. Also, I wouldn't want to dullen their shine by scuffing them on my daily commute. This is a good-looking pair of shoes that I will keep for special occasions.I wear a size 11 in almost all men's shoes and debated whether to order an 11 or a 10.5, as it appeared that the size may run a bit large. But if I'm going to wear these for dancing I don't want them too tight, and as it turned out size 11 fit me just right. My biggest fear with dress shoes that I buy online is that the top of the back of the heel will cut into or chafe against my Achilles tendon area. I've only worn these out for one event so far (wore them for about 5 hours), but I can say that in that outing I didn't experience any pain in my Achilles, just a little redness.Long story short, these shoes were a better value for what I got than comparable ones at local stores, they are comfortable, and they will work well as dress shoes for going out on the town or anything that involves dancing.

I bought this pair for my husband, who needed tuxedo shoes but absolutely hates going shopping. I’m usually reluctant to order shoes online and I was a bit skeptical about the quality because of the price being so low. But since they came with free returns, I thought I would take a chance. Shipment came fast, and to our surprise, the actual shoes look just as good as (or better than) the other more expensive pairs I was looking at a specialty shoes store. They are super shiny and seem very well-made. Most important of all, my husband absolutely loved them! Despite the narrow-toe-style, he said they are very comfortable. Although there is space at the tip, his foot (wider than average) won’t slide forward because of how the shoes are designed. Glad we took a chance. My husband and I are both very happy with the purchase!

This shoes are great. They fit great although like any shoes they take some time to get used to and break in. The quality of the shoes is pretty good. It has a nice glossy look and and smooth finish. It took some adjusting of the laces to get them to fit but once I found the correct lacing, it was great. The laces are pretty good quality and when I used polish on the shoes it did not cause any damage to the material of the shoe. It came out with a nice shine. I walked around in it at a wedding and my feet did not hurt or feel sore (although I did have to break them in prior). I do recommend dress socks when wearing this since it can be a tight fit if you use too thick of socks. The shoes have pretty good grip. I was able to dance with them on the dance floor at the wedding and did not have any issues with sliding or lack of grip. They are pretty comfortable once you break them in. Overall I really like these shoes, they are a great price and they look great with my suit. I feel like these shoes will work with almost any suit type and color. They are comfortable and fit exactly as expected.

Awesome shoes! Fits very well. It has rubber bottom shoe , so it provides flexibility while walking. Inside the shoe has nice padding and quality made materials to make your feet comfortable. As far as its' look, it gives a look that very expensive shoe can but this you can own for around 40 bucks. It is a shiny shoe , I guarantee at least couple complements a day from the people around you. I would definitely buy this shoes again and recommend it to my friends.

Excellent fit and finish! Very stylish and well built. I have been looking for formal shoes but have never picked them up due to usually high price and lack of use. These shoes are an excellent value and I will look forward to wearing them at my next special occasion. I much prefer this style to the ones with the band across the front - a nice simple and elegant look. The laces are strong and tacky so they stay tied, often an issue with lace-up dress shoes I've worn before. It's a relief to just tie them once and not have to deal with bending over to fix them every hour. Lastly I'd like to mention that they seem to run spot on as far as size goes, since some have mentioned that these run a bit larger. Enjoy!

The shoes came delivered in a nice box with individual cloth wrapping each shoe. When I opened the box, I first noticed a weird odor that was very strong. I know they said in the description that they are made of Vegan Leather. In layman’s terms, plastic. The shoes fit exactly as I hoped. But there is no escaping that weird odor. It smells like gasoline or like a petroleum based oil or something. Basically, stinks. I wore the shoes to a black tie, gala event, and in the limousine on the way, I could smell the shoes, which means I know others around me could as well. When I got home late that evening, both my socks and shoes still smelled like some sort of gas or oil. I’m hoping this isn’t the experience for everyone, because I really like the look of the shoe and comfort was pretty good. But, oh that smell!!
