Homestyles Aspen Cherry Queen Headboard

We couldn't be more pleased with the quality, and at at this price point. The cherry finish blends well with the mahogany finishes in the same style in our room. We adapted this to fit an extra tall frame by adding some height with hidden flat brackets and staining the risen wood to match. This is solid, without any gap to nor any give from the mattress. We're both leaning against it sitting up without any concerns. It has a bit of a timeless beauty to it, and looks substantial, classy, and classic. It was delivered quickly and packaged well. The stain solvent off-gassed mostly within one day, although also faintly in the second day. By the end of the second day, there was no smell. I've read some complaints that hardware wasn't included, however after our own installation, see that there's enough variation in bed frames that the buyer needs to get their own machine/ carriage bolts (and we found those easily and inexpensively). Assembly and installation were easy. Retrospectively, we're so glad this is the headboard we chose and would do it over again.

I am very happy with this headboard. It has a quality cherry finish and the craftsmanship is very good. It took about an hour to unpack and assemble. With it’s heavy weight construction it does help having someone assist at times. The bolt hole spacing for attaching it to a standard metal bed frame was perfect.

The headboard is perfect for our queen sized bed. The headboard is heavy and made out of a high grade wood. The instructions were clearly written with pictures. When it called for 16 screws, we got 18. Put it together in a couple of hours. Note, the headboard and legs came in two boxes and were delivered separately. Very pleased!!

This headboard is really beautiful and easy to assemble. We recently remodeled our oldest son’s bedroom, and we didn’t want to put a huge dent in our budget, but we also didn’t want some cheap looking piece of furniture either. This headboard is heavy, sturdy, and looks more expensive than it actually is. My husband had to use some longer screws because the ones provided in the kit weren’t long enough, but that wasn’t a problem because he had some on hand. When we remodel our youngest son’s bedroom, we plan on purchasing another one of these headboard’s, if it’s still available, which I hope it will be. Highly recommended!

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING: 1) Just know ahead of time that, contrary to the picture, it is NOT solid wood from top to bottom like the picture shows. The bottom of the top piece starts at about 26" from the floor. So, if you have a thick bedspring and mattress it will "JUST barely" make it to the point that covers the empty space. 2) YOU have to assemble this headboard. It consists of maybe six or so large pieces? It is delivered in multiple boxes, quite likely delivered on DIFFERENT days. So, don't panic if only one box shows up the first day and the others show up the next... IKR? 3) It's of solid build quality. I'm pleased with the workmanship. 4) It comes predrilled for either the bed kit with wooden sides or a regular Queen basic metal frame. It does NOT come with attaching hardware. 5) Holes in the headboard for metal frame attachment are drilled at 3/8" diameter. You may need to shim the holes with 3/8" O.D., 1/4 I.D. round sleaves to match the 1/4" holes in your metal frame, so you don't have any movement or play after it's bolted up. 6) Comes with plastic protective pads on the bottom of the foot posts to prevent scratching your floor. Although - mine was a 1/4" OFF the floor after mounting to my metal frame. 7) The instructions do NOT indicate which way the main panel is supposed to be facing when you assemble it, so pay close attention to that little detail.

This product assembled easily and was extremely well packaged. The instructions were clear. The title is misleading calling it a cherry headboard. It is made from mahogany with cherry stain and it matched our bedroom set well. However if it was made of cherry wood the price would definitely be higher.

So far I have only unboxed the headboard. Nevertheless I was so impressed that I now plan to purchase one or two more. The headboard is exactly as advertised. It is heavy, well crafted and beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful and looks like it’s worth twice the cost. Wife loves it
