OTUAYAUTO Door Lock Actuator Front Left - Replacement for Acura RSX, Honda Accord Civic Odyssey Pilot - Driver Side Door Latch, Replace OEM: 72155S5PA11

Left rear door lock actuator did not include metal rod that connects to door handle. I removed the connecting rod from the old actuator by breaking the plastic clip. There is no way to attach the connecting rod to the new actuator without breaking the plastic clip or by cutting the connecting rod near the slot, then bending the metal to get the rod attached to plastic clip. This worked for now, but not sure how long it will last. All the other suppliers on Amazon and Honda include the rod already attached to the actuator. Very frustrated and disappointed... Wasted too much time trying to resolve this. I would appreciate a response from OTUAYAUTO. In the mean time, I will take my business elsewhere. I would be delighted to applaud OTUAYAUTO for following up with me and making it right. For now, Buyers Beware.....

The part was an identical match to the OEM part. The part matched up with all the OEM mounting points, as well as the electrical connections. Easy to install there us a bunch installation videos online. Just take your time and be patient. The parts been in for a week so far and it’s been working fine.

Ordered this for my 2007 Honda CRV because the lock actuators were faulty, but failed way out of their warranty period. This part is a bit tricky to install, but doable. You’ll want to note that it *does not* come with the metal arm that connects it up to the door handle. I had to use the metal arm from my old (broken) lock/latch and basically engineer it onto this part. I have no idea why the arm isn’t included because it’s a critical part and it’s impossible to install an old arm on this new part without breaking the arm or the part. I used my dremel to cut the metal arm, then bend it back enough to slip it on, then I used JB Weld to “glue” the part I broke back together. So, I fixed it and it’s working great, but I wouldn’t think everyone is quite that handy. Something to be aware of. Otherwise, the part itself works great after two weeks.

It arrived quickly, was packaged well and fitment was perfect.I am pleased that replacing this low dollar part fixed my wife's drivers front door completely. Ordinarily a trip to the mechanic could cost 200 to 300 for a job such as this. With My wife's car I have to maintain at a higher level than my own, and this product was most appreciated.

I decided to ignore the 1 star reviews and get this anyway.After a complicated installation, the actuator failed completely within 2 weeks.Only this one failed in such a way that the door is stuck lock. Now I must have a mechanic replace it without being able to open the door.TL;DR bite the bullet and get a mechanic to fix this issue. This POS is not worth getting your car door stuck over.

I used this on my front passenger door lock of my 2003 CR-V. It had stopped working when using the automatic locks. There are a few videos on how to install and it was not that difficult. I have done this on a few other cars, so I do have some experience with DIY. Fortunately, it did work after installation and much cheaper that the original Honda part. I hope it lasts.

Definitely not the easiest thing to install, the plastic clip/thing that should hold the metal rod (which connects to the door handle) comes in sealed but without the metal rod. I couldn't figure out the way to install the rod without breaking this plastic part.

Work's as it should but be careful when you take out the old unit and don't discard it until you complete the reinstall because they don't tell you that you will be using parts off your old unit to go on the new one such as casing.
