Size is Accurate
I hesitated on buying this because there appears to be a size discrepancy. My measurements: 5'4", 250#, 44D, 46" waist, 56" hips, 18.5" around at my upper arm (chunkiest part). I bought a 3X and it fits perfectly. Ends right at the line of my butt and upper thigh but I have a short torso and long legs. Sleeves are a teensy bit long but adjustable and I'm short, short torso, and have small hands. I put my Columbia Fast Trek II size 3X fleece on underneath this and it still has room to spare. Haven't tested it in the rain yet but it's Columbia so I trust it to be waterproof. If it's not sufficiently waterproof I'll update this. It's lightweight, not insulated, not lined, not meant to be anything other than a light waterproof jacket. I wanted it to wear over my fleece or a hoody. So far, so good!

Light and perfect for rainy spring weather..
It is very lightweight yes and very thin. At first wear, it was really noisy but after wearing it in the rain, which is exactly what I bought it for, it's softened up a bit and makes a nice windbreaker as well. The fact that the material seems to have gotten a bit softer tells me that it truly is packable and won't crack like the Old Navy one I replaced. My only issue is I have short arms so the arms are a bit too long for me but the Velcro closures help with that, same goes for the hood ..if I don't cinch the hood it actually blocks my vision lol. The fit is good and its form fitting, I bought the one in blush. I get a lot of comments on the color.

Size up at LEAST one size but great jacket!!
Definitely size up!!! I read the reviews and am glad I did. I am 5'7, 190 lbs and have a DD chest. I ordered a 2X and the fit is perfect- roomy enough to put a sweatshirt on underneath and not be tight in the arms or anywhere else. l almost went with a 1X because the reviews said to size up, but VERY glad I didn't, wouldn't have been roomy enough. I own a North Face Denali jacket in an XL, and, at least for me, it would seem Columbia runs at LEAST a size smaller, if not two. Love the red color, is very pretty and although I haven't worn it in the rain yet, I did just wear it outside in the cold Pacific NW wind, and was pleased to find it cut the wind very nicely and kept me warm on a 49 degree blustery day with a sweatshirt underneath. As for some of the reviews saying it was 'plastic', I disagree- it is a waterproof shell, exactly as described. Would highly recommend, just make sure you size up! :)

Good jacket but sleeves to small and tight
This jacket is waterproof and packable, just what I was looking for. The fit is great everywhere EXCEPT the sleeves. It is so tight in the arms that I can't wear a sweater under this like I want for fall weather. It's very disappointing as the jacket is nice other than the sleeve problem. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it for use in the summer or return it. I' ordered ta larger size after trying on a my regular size at a local store. I was hoping the larger size would fix the sleeve problem but it doesn't. I hope that Columbia does something about this problem soon.

This is a wonderful jacket for my purpose
This is a wonderful jacket for my purpose, hiking in mild to warm weather. It is lightweight but doesn't feel cheap, the hood has its own compartment, and it has large pockets on the inside and out.It does run small. I hover between a 1x and a 2x, but something told me to order a 3x just to be safe. I'm so glad I did. This gives me just enough room for a layer (or layers) unde

Way too small; horribly wrinkled.
Unfortunately, this came stuffed in a small box. It is ridiculously wrinkled. The color was nice. Hung it to let it rid itself of some wrinkles. That didn't work. Tried it on this morning. It is way too small. This product is not worth the price paid. I will have to return it. There should be an option for zero stars.

Plum Jacket
I bought this for a European trip to Denmark, Norway, London, and Paris in early May. I got more use out of it when I returned to Florida and our rainy climate but it was a nice pop of color to wear while overseas.PROS:Bright Plum color is gorgeous!1X fit well.Hood can be rolled back into collar.Jacket is thin, but not see-through.No, it is not an insulated jacket, but because of the material, it did wonders for holding warmth close to me which came in handy on the chill days that did not warrant my heavy winter jacket. No issues with water on our one drizzly day.CONS:The collar was very stiff when hood is rolled up into it.I hope the back vent did something, but it felt like it did nothing- I had sweat rolling off me in Geiranger because the day started cold then warmed up.Not efficient for just wearing as a layer if it is not chilly or drizzly. I planned wrong in Geiranger and wore a thermal under a tank because I thought I would not be taking the jacket off...big fashion mistake! There was definitely a "wearing a plastic trash bag" feeling going on until I could get somewhere to do damage control.I would have liked to have an inside pocket. I had no issues with the outside ones getting wet, but for extra security, inside pocket to stash my phone would have been nice.

Very happy with this jacket
This is exactly as I thought it would be. It is the perfect light jacket for quick on the go trips in cooler weather. I bought a size up from what I would probably wear just to be safe and so I could layer it with other jackets if necessary. I can tell that it might make me a little too warm in warmer climates but I expected that from reading other reviews. I am very happy with the fast shipping with Prime and I'm also very happy that it fits over another Columbia jacket I have. The packaway hood is very nice as well as the adjustable velcro sleeves. I also love the zipper pockets. Those make it handy to stash something in there you don't want taken out very easily. The color is as pictured as well. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Great lightweight windbreaker
This jacket is perfect for what I need. I bought a 1X and I’m 44-38-36. It fits really well everywhere and is quite flattering. There’s no lining so it’s very thin, which I like. It has that plastic feel on the inside so your arms may get sweaty if you’re running or it’s warm out, but that’s how lightweight waterproof/water resistant jackets without linings are. I would definitely recommend it. Seems well made and durable.

Very pretty
Very pretty colour. Fits well except sleeves slightly long. Love the look.
