Professional tool
The tool makes all the difference: strips the sleeve very well, cuts the ends and crimps effectively, I have been making cables galore and I am pleased.

Great tool if you know what you are doing
No instructions but I was able to find enough information on the RJ-45 plug package and the internet to make it work. The tool quality is good. It's not Klein, but it is certainly higher quality than I expected. Only downside is no instructions. I figured out that stripper closest to the pivot is for stripping CAT 5e cable - works perfect: clears the cover and doesn't touch the wires. A couple of straight cutters (in yellow) one cuts, I presume the other strips. Didn't try the stripper. The cutter was fine but I had a little better luck using the cutter on my wire strippers. The crimper worked great for the RJ-45 plugs I was using. Make sure you look up the wiring arrangement - My first set was upside down. The tool even spells out the wiring arrangement for T-568B and A... doesn't help if you flip it upside down, of course. This arrived earlier than expected. Overall very pleased. Do not hesitate to purchase this for making your own patch cords.

Great Starter Kit
It is hard to align the wires for easy insertion into the crimper (keeping them straight). The crimping is solid but the cut is not as clean as there are always about two to three wires that do not cleanly cut.My crimps still were solid and looked professionally done. You will want to use a better tool for wire stripping and properly account for the wire stripping length. The punch-down wire stripper tool is almost non-functional except for punching down.

Works well for my use.
Works surprisingly well. This is my first ever tool of this kind, so I don’t have much experience with more known brands like “Klein tools” and after watching few videos I was able to crimp my first 3 ends with no problem at all. Took some times to straighten the wires and pass them through the holes but once done, the crimping works in the snap. Cut extended ends cleanly. I wish there was some instructions included, but it was not difficult to figure out.

Pass Through connectors save a lot of cable prep time
I got this tool in anticipation of a project where time would be tight. Using Pass Through connectors saves a lot of fiddling because you can easily see the wires are in the right position *after* you have inserted them into the plug and I didn't have any failures on the project. I didn't use this tool for stripping the cable; I have a separate trusty tool for that, so I can't comment on that functionality. I have taken my previous crimper out of my tool bag!

Great Tool
Great tool, well built and easy to use. I have never crimped cat5/6 wire before, but the pass through feature is a must for beginners as it's very easy to see if you have the right alignment before you crimp the connection. Sturdy well biult crimping tool, great simple easy to use wire stripper and you get 50 connectors. Heck the connectors at a local big box store cost $20.00 plus tax just for 25 of those alone. I highly recommend this product.

Works great.
I'm an I.T. guy and this works much better than the one my company issued to me. It's very well made and reasonably priced. However, I would caution you to only crimp the plug once or you will mess up the connector.
