knock, knock, knock- buy it x 3
I will assume that if you are a fan of this show, than you will be a fan of this book. First time I have purchased an audio style from this series, but will most likely do it again. I have a 7 hour car travel approximately 7 times a year and this was a great companion. In fact, darn near listened to it completely before choosing to switch to some music (and I love my music!). A fun way to broaden your knowledge of philosophy if you simply like to dabble. Even if you are seriously into philosophy, which I am, I think you would enjoy any of this series if you like whatever show or movie is covered. I have had several books already and enjoyed every one. They are fun, humorous and educational; A trifecta! Would be especially pleasant for those who like to stimulate their minds but reading has become impossible or too difficult.

The wonderful world off geeks.
If you have watched the show and understand all the characters, then you will love this entertaining book that gives insight and reason to the Big Bang theory. It's fun to read and I enjoyed the book completely.

there were some singularly bad essays. This is worth reading for the good ...
As with other volumes in this series, there are a couple of very thoughtful and interesting essays. Conversely, there were some singularly bad essays. This is worth reading for the good essays, so three stars. Buy the kindle edition.

Very interesting!
I bought this because my hubby got hooked on the series, and I found I was enjoying it too - more than I usually enjoy the series he gets addicted to. Started wondering if anything had been written about the relationship between the various players from a philosophical point of view - particularly Sheldon and Leonard, but others as well - and googled it hoping to find a paper or article ... was amazed to find a whole book on the subject! I did find it interesting and enjoyable, although when I'd got about half-way through it did occur to me that a paper or article might have been sufficient.

A fun read
This book was clearly written in response to the success of the big bang theory and as an avid fan it made me look at the show in a totally new light. The writing style is what you would expect challenging but not difficult. Overall the author did a good job applying complex philosophical ideas to the Big Bang Theory.
