It really is easy as Dell
I've had this computer for several weeks now and it runs and performs like a dream. It was virtually ready to go right outta the box. A few a setup questions and of course you need to do some hardware updates. For the price, you just cant find a better deal. It runs smooth, fast, and doesn't bog down if you are running multiple programs at once. It even will run some lower end games like Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike on medium high settings without lag or slow down. This is a a great option for a computer if you are looking for something cheap but effective and not looking to do anything to crazy.

A great little PC, small form factor, good video card, perfect office PC
I'm going to have to eat my words from my original review below, the problem ended up being the HDMI to DVI cable I was using to connect my secondary monitor. I used a standard dvi to dvi connector and had zero issues running dual monitors with this PC. All that said, the size, the on board wifi, and the 1 TB hard drive are all worth the price compared to similar PC's.** old review ** My wife's brand new computer that I purchased early in January of this year was fried during a lightning storm this past week so it set me on another purchase hunt for a cheap, yet effective small business PC. This thing had just enough requirements for her type of PC use, a large 1TB disk, and a small form factor to fit her desk. The one thing that set it apart is it has a i=Intel UHD 630 graphics card which should be enough for web browsing and occasional YouTube. We have some very nice dual monitors and so this PC is supposed to easily handle dual monitors with the on board DVI and HDMI slots, it does not. If you plug the DVI in with the HDMI in use your screen will go blank. There's no easy option to set up these monitors and its bare bones card so there's no standalone software to troubleshoot the monitors. The monitor on the DVI does show up and is being registered as an active device under device manager, but no output is being sent out. There's also no specific function for Dual Monitor Support under BIOS.Overall, it is what it is, a decent, cheap, do just enough PC for the average user with a few nifty perks of wireless WIFI and being a small form factor.

Dell Inspiron 3470
This is one great little PC! It is very small in size so you can fit it just about anywhere. It's very stylish looking and the features are great. I really like that it has Windows 10 Home on it and the DVD-RW is nice. The case has good airflow through it and the computer has excellent speed. Has plenty of storage at 1TB for the home user. Was the perfect little computer for our daughter to do homeschooling on. For the price this computer is Amazing! Would for sure buy this computer again and again!!! Great Job on this one Dell....Amazon had the best price of anyone!

Locks up (freezes)
I purchased this tower to replace an Inspiron tower I purchased from Dell in 2011. That tower still worked but the OS was having problems and I decided to replace it rather than spend the time to fix it. This was cheap and small. I am tired of heavy towers . This tower locks up constantly. I have done a reset and that did not fix it. I am now trying a cloud restore.. When I open the command prompt window the computer freezes so I can't use that. I am typing this on my Inspiron laptop that has never been a problem . I have owned three Dell laptops and two Dell towers before I purchased this tower. After the cloud restore the McAfee 30 day trial was missing but my computer has stopped freezing up. I don't care about the McAfee free trial, I already have an anti-virus subscription and would have replaced the McAfee anyway. I have purchased directly from Dell for over 30 years and never had a problem with anything I purchased DIRECTLY.

Wow was this easy.
Dell makes life easy. I've been building or buying pre-built computers since forever and this one by FAR was the easiest to setup. No joke you plug it in, connect the monitor and turn it on...you have to answer a few questions blah blah blah but really easy.I might buy another one for my 94 yo mother.

Exceptional PC
Very fast, super cheap, and high quality. A new one on Dell (with 9th gen processor) costs about $500-700. The graphics card is also great - plays Roblox and other online games with superb graphics and no lag or disconnecting. Just what I needed.

Perfect for My Purposes
Was going to purchase a refurbished machine until I found this one. Decided for the difference in price, I would purchase the new one. Using this for general internet, email, and light photo organization. First time using Windows 10, previously all machines had/have Windows 7. Prefer Windows 7! Intel Core i3 (instead of the offered i5) plenty, only change made was to add 8GB of RAM for a total of 16GB (this only came with 8GB). Easily done, purchased 8GB from Amazon and inserted it in a few minutes. The only negative for me is the Windows 10, too many "bells and whistles", and too many junk apps. Good basic machine, at a reasonable price.
