This is what they call green compost (never add manure to your garden becuase you add all the hormones and antibiotics cows are contaminated with). This adds valuable nitrogen to your soil. Great product.

Seed looked funny. Not sure going to work for my purpose. Seed from another place looked right and germinated well. Will probably go back to them.

These are poorly labelled. These are Rye Berries. I buy Rye Berries in bulk and already have 50 lbs...50 lbs free of splits and debris, which this bag is not in just a small hand held bag I see lots of debris and multiple splits that I will need to remove before using. Also has non food debris some sort of plastic and possibly some other types of seed.I am sure this is fine for tossing out in bulk on the ground.IT is terrible for mycology.Rye Grass Seed is something else entirely but this product is labeled and comes up as a primary search result for it.They were also shipped like a bean bag with a bag in a bag envelope that held no shape and got lost in the mail for a week.

This seed did not perform well for me. I planted it the same way I have planted other winter rye seed for the last 25 years. Germination rate for this seed was dismal. Now I have to find another option for my cover crop having wasted money and time. I'd return the seed but it's already in the ground!Sorry but I cannot recommend Old Cobblers Farm Winter Rye Seed.

These are great seeds from Old Cobblers Farm, they sprouted in 3 days and are growing like weeds.....

Was planted a bit late. I cast the seed twice, once upon arrival, and again 10 days later. 10 days after that, I write this. Not a sprout to be found.
