Hongkong Prepaid SIM Card 7 Days Unlimited 4G Data HK Local Voice Travel Sim Card

I bought this SIM card because I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro that would not update in the USA, even after changing the country settings to other countries. I read online that some people were successful in updating their Huawei phone by putting in a SIM from another country (and someone specifically mentioned Hong Kong). This SIM was cheap and did not need to be activated. I placed the SIM card in my Huawei phone and selected update, and I went from EMUI 9 (Android 9) to EMUI 10 (Android 10) and got lots of security updates and patches. It worked. I removed the SIM and put my normal SIM back into my phone. I wish this US embargo would end, but at least this allowed me to get my Huawei phone undated. This is likely be my last Huawei phone, as I do not want to go through this to get updates every time.

Updated my Huawei phone with this sim card. My Mate 20x was stuck on 9.0 for the longest, it's now 2020 and did not receive any update from T-Mobile.I inserted this sim card in, turned WiFi on and it started automatically updating to emui 9.1.
