I have had this system for about 2.5 years now and used it quite a bit. It is very simple and easy to use. The athletes can go right after one another without having to reset anything. Unlike more expensive options it does exactly what it says (laser timing) and nothing else. It doesn't keep a log of times, record splits or bluetooth to your phone of tablet. If you need to record timings at multiple distances of a run, this would not be the timer for you. The only negative thing I have to say is that the tripods that it comes with are at ankle level so very often athletes will run through the gate mid-stride and not trip the laser. So I recommend getting 4 taller tripods to go with it, which you can find for about $30 apiece on Amazon. Other that that it's good to go.

This timing system is wonderful, very simple to set up, easy to use and well built. It's not made for adverse weather but it works great in mid 20's temperatures! The range is limited to 500m but with course sets of 25-35 gates, that is just fine. It even lets you know when it is out of range! Error 1 is the start is too far, Error 2 means the finish is too far. Set the Timing Display between the Start and Finish and its very stable and maximum distance is covered. One reset button to set up the system, then one racer at a time on course. It resets at each start! No numbers to enter, no signal conflicts, its on a 2.4 ghz signal. Great custom foam protective carrying case too, very pleased with this system. It will get used for summer training as well, a versatile timing system.

The product worked for about 3 minutes then began flashing error 2 (meaning the timer is too far away, which it was not). It then beeped error 2 constantly no matter where I put it..zero customer support (there is no way to contact them) and Amazon bounced me back and forth 5 times before I gave up and decided to return it. Very, very disappointed.. really wanted this to work and needed it for my youth strength and conditioning teams.Recommend steering clear of this one.

Love everything about this timing system. Comes in a solid and sturdy carrying case. Everything is modular and very easy to set up. Each sensor and the display run on portable power banks (sold separately) so you don’t have to worry about having an outlet or long cords. Accurately communicates at distance and records times down to the thousandth of a second. Excellent for tracking sprint progressions or lap times. We use it for BMX training and it has met and exceeded all of my expectations.

This system beeps when the Lazer is broken. Would like to turn that off. If I had known it beeps would not have purchased it. Can you tell me how to disable the beep

The media could not be loaded. This timer system is fantastic and has yet to disappoint us in the quality or function. It arrived quickly and packaged in a lightweight padded aluminum locking case that will ensure its durability and use for a long time to come. The timers are easy to set up and can be used anywhere because of the tripod leg stands they come with that allow positioning on any surface or terrain.These timers are about 1/3 of the cost of similar wireless laser timers with the only “downside” being that you need to use backup chargers to power them. I purchased (2) 2 packs for $20 each which gave us an extra (you will need 1 for each laser and 1 for the clock).We are using these for BMX but I would recommend these without hesitation for nearly any sport.

Customer support is top notch. Just make sure to set up the display at least 10 feet from either laser and it works flawlessly.
